That's why I love One Piece and One Punch Man. This is a one page worthy moment while in One Punch Man, one swing could take up an entire chapter. And you wouldn't complain. Full color Metal Knight appearance and Boros ship maze. Was way more pages than they needed and was on par with a cover page story of a One Peice chapter.

This animation is truly MAGNIFICENT. There's SO many details, between the second 0:05-0:06 how Mihawk's face reflects like a shadow on S-hawk face, MR.1, the little dance S-Hawk does, the explosions in black and white with greens and reds, the movement, the frames without lines all base colors, Kaku's travelling while suffering, the sweat drop, S-Hawk nightmarish faces, everything is SO BEAUTIFUL. I know what's going to happen in the next chapter and if the animation is like that I can't wait to see. THIS IS SO BEAUTIFUL MY GOD I CAN'T STOP REPLAYING THIS SCENE AND I NEED TO GO BACK TO WORK.

This is what Zoro fights have been missing for so long, in Wano it was just crazy laser beam sword fighting, its epic to see some actual choreography and using Kaku as comic relief is fantastic

it’s crazy how S-Hawk is like a living throwback to all of Zoro’s major opponents. He’s the clone (and in a loose sense, biological son) of both Dracule Mihawk from Baratie and King from Wano Country, he’s emulating the powers of Daz Bonez from Arabasta, and several of his leg-based attacks are highly reminiscent of Kaku’s Four-Sword Style from Enies Lobby. Combined with Kaku himself thrown in the mix (much to his dismay), it’s like a waltz down memory lane! Which is funny, because S-Hawk is a clone and does not have Mihawk’s actual memories, only his muscle memory.
Ngl Thriller Bark made me drop the show on my first watch, that was a couple years ago now and I’m glad I eventually continued watching, the arc afterwards is genuinely one of my favorites in the entire show.
the animation is undoubtedly good, but for whatever reason it just doesn't hit right, maybe too fluid and needs more impact or buildup frames, but idk not an animator

They definitely spent all of Sanji's budget on this scene. That beam deflect later on is going to be a 7 frames drawn out into 240 and they'll make him cough up blood straight after doing it so he doesn't actually give off the impression he's a competent member of the straw hats. Toei have an agenda I swear on it.

Luffy does have pretty good control over Observation Haki so it's probably easier for Luffy to dodge without much effort

Did you see Episode 1108? I didn't know that dragging Luffy and Zoro png was movie animation. The reason why they are able to do this is because the episodes are not that animated like that and they also do recaps to prepare for these.
