They need to add remote control for Spike Prime like Mindstorms 51515!
For those having problems downgrading from v3 to v2, Pybricks has a utility that might help. It is designed for downloading their os. But it also gives a way to restore original spike prime or robot inventor os. This can be used as a hack to get back spike prime v2 (at least, that is unless/until they make v3 the default)
Thanks Gary, won't be going there until things are more stable, the changes are great steps forward but get the sense things were rushed. I would have liked to have seen some of the Inventor App features included. I am still on the inventor app due to the remote control building and coding feature that the kids love, not just a remote control you have to think it out :)
I was disappointed not finding hub2hub communicating in V3.
Annoying having to choose between Spike or RI depending on features.
Spike has features for online data and logging.
While RI can do hub2hub communication.
I wish they could make possible to run small standalone program on "basic hubs" ( Boos Hub, City Hub, Technic Hub).
Would be cool to use them too, not just RI-hub and Prime-hub (I don't know if Spike Essential run stand alone, or through programming device)
Having the Boost hub, it would be cool to use set it up as remote I/O, 2 built-in motor, built-in sensors, and to connection ports.
Tempted to get Spike Essential, just for the small motors, but if it were possible to set the hub to be a RIO it would be fantastic.
Two extra ports, and wireless range, if cables are too short.
I find Pybricks interesting, and successfully got it to run stand alone with Boost-hub, but was unable to figure out their hub2hub functions, even between RI/PRIME-hubs.
Maybe about time to give it a try again.
hello after update our spike hub to new version of spike there is no bluettoh light. have you faced that kind of problem before?
I love your work😮😮😮😮😮😊😊😊😊😊
Thank you.
I did an AI prorchekt😊😊
Hi bro, I am countering a problem with Spike 3, if you use any real-time block (such as the Yaw angle block) which reports real-time data, the code crashes down and doesn't work !!! any suggestions!
Sounds like a strange issue! Does this happen to all hubs, or just the one? Garry

Thank you for posting videos like theses!! My students found the python courses incredibly useful.
Glad you enjoyed the videos! Garry
What about LEGO Inventor 51515 App? Is there also an update? Thanks
Hi! These changes only affect SPIKE Prime at the moment. Garry
515151 is apparently ditched and won't supported in future, and will be blocked on prime app
@@RomanRichter420What do you mean by ‘ditched’? Thanks.
LEGO Mindstorms had been discontinued as of 31 december 2022. The app will be supported till 2024
It seemed like a very strange decision. They left a huge hole by doing this. In Canada, you can get the SPIKE set from the LEGO online store but you have to find it by searching SPIKE or go to the Education section which most noneducational people would miss.
The video is really good, thanks for making these, however on my app the python coding method is not showing, do you know how to fix it?
Hi there, the Python feature is not in the latest app, it will be added later. If you want to code in Python you will need to use version 2. Garry
@@CreatorAcademyAustralia How would I download that version? Could you give me a link?
