Hey, so you have me curious. What OS are you installing on these systems and what function are you intending for them to server? A. they are 8 generations behind in CPU, so they wouldn't be daily drivers for gaming or office task. B. Sub 1080GTX or better wouldn't be worth wild for Plex, or Jellyfin servers. However with much less investment you could install Linux on them and configure them as NAS, or MeshCentral control servers. This would up their value closer into the $200~$300 range. Especially if you configured them as MeshCentral Routers seeing as how many people charge $150 simply for setting that up. You could go a step further and do a Linux + MeshCentral + File Backup Server with investment of a 10TB Helium drive off Amazon for $40. putting them into the $500 range. Just food for thought. ^_^
Woo that’s quite a thought! I run windows 10 on these budget machines. I live in central Arkansas and there is a demand for budget oriented machines here that I have found solid success in since Arkansas is one of the poorer states in the country. While support for windows 10 will end next year, that doesn’t mean that the OS can’t still be used for awhile longer!
Can't wait for the next video
Thank you!
