in case you still have the Tepui. There must be some kind of elastic strings (4 pcs) delivered with the tent. you can connect them inside the tent at the windows (Crosswise up an crosswise down)...Than the Tent will fall more inside and you dont have to stuck it in. (Hope you can understand...i am german :) I have the Autana 3. Nice Tent!
@@onehappykombi When i unpacked my tent they where in the bag with the hooks for the ground 🤷🏽♂️ i didnt use them from the beginning but i feel they make it much easier to pack the tent. But u can buy any other String….you only Need a Bit tension 😊
Hi Guys, are you still using your Tepui? I just got mine and I really appreciate this video showing how to open and close the tent. The rods that hold up the flaps around the windows. Did you know that right at the entrance of the tent and the edge of the mattress there is a zipper that you can open and that is where you can store those rods. You probably already know that, buy I thought I would tell you anyway.
Hi Melinda! We have only been in the tent in minor rains because we have mostly been traveling in dry climates. (From Texas until north California) It rained a few times but we never had any issues with water entering the tent. We also open it up almost everyday so if it gets wet, we let it dry open and it doesn’t take that long (maybe the afternoon or overnight). The issue we have with any storm is the amount of wind. On many occasions we slept inside of the bus because it was too windy!
Hi! great video! I am planning to buy a Rooftop Tent. I am considering this one but I would like to know, is it dark inside during the night? Some tents are struggling. Thanks for your answer! Cheers
I want to get this for my Jeep wrangler, looks like great quality, you have steel rain gutters correct? I have plastic, mine may fail with weight on them.
I think the question might be is the sleeping bags would fit to leave in there, rather than packing then up (like you mention in the video). I'm also curious about that 😊
Friends, excellent project, I would like to ask is it more comfortable to sleep inside the combi or on the rooftop tent? . Greetings from Colombia @poche_kombia
Thule makes great stuff. Nice rooftop tent.
Best wishes and happy trails.

Thanks Chuck, you too!
I might get this for my Combi in Mexico. Something different from sleeping inside.
Highly recommended! You could get a lighter one for the warmer climate
Una alternativa para dormir en el exterior, quedo muy bien
Gracias Eloy!

I do still have it but do not find those elastics!
Are they permanently inside the tent or is it a separate piece ?

Have you been in it during a storm? Did it stay dry inside? If so, how did it go drying it out to pack it back up? How man days?

@@onehappykombi I wondering how good it is during a strong wind since this brand is from scandinavia.
Where have you made it to

It is as dark or light as you want it to be depending on how you set the windows

They’re a combination of plastic and metal but haven’t failed yet !
Great video!!
Thank you!!!!
Your tent is so nice hahahaha, where did you connect those lights for power????
Those lights have their own batteries and charge by solar!
Is the material for this tent not fading ????
It is not faded at all so far, i will clarify its been stored for a few months at this point (the video is old)
thanks for the review
Thanks for watching and leaving comments!!!
Can I put sleep bag in the tent.
We use normal bed sheets but yes you can

what roof rack are you using?
Yakima Towers with a rain gutter mount
@@onehappykombi thanks for the info
I’m reading these have a weight limit of 175lbs. Is there a set with a higher limit?
Invest in a step ladder. Put a towel over the ends of the ladder before putting the cover on.
Step ladder for what?
Gawddamn, Featherly is noisy! Oh wait…that’s not Featherly, is it?
Nope haha but also next to a highway 🛣

hola Alejandra! en la carpa de techo tenemos mas espacio, pero el colchón de la kombi es mas ancho, creo que ambas opciones son super cómodas!
