+Kimonotaku Oh, "Last Window" is a real sequel! It's more nuanced, deeper, has better graphics, sound quality and overall production. The story is rich, although the characters are somewhat similar to the archetypes used in "Hotel Dusk". But "Last Window" is by far the better game. The main reason? Best. Pixel Christmas. Ever. And I don't even celebrate Christmas! haha! Give it a go if you can find it - it's lovely!
If Kanasaki and Satoshi Okubo ever announce a kickstarter for a Hotel Dusk successor, it will be a GUARANTEED success. ... Also, you didn't loop it perfectly.
Hotel Dusk > mario kart/super mario bros/gta china town wars/professor layton/pokemon/any other big DS game. Sure those others can be played over and over but none gave me the feeling that hotel dusk did. I'l always be greatful to the nintendo DS, I don't really play video games anymore but the DS is part of my childhood I'll never forget :(

So, I googled a bit and found out that apparently some members of the team behind Zero Escape worked on the Kyle Hyde duality as well, but that's definitely not what some people is referring to. "finally found the song zero uses in his videos"
Even having seen ZeRo's videos, I did not know this played in them. I learned about Hotel Dusk and the soundtrack is one of the absolute best I have ever heard, if not the actual best. Additionally, I don't think I will forget this game after having seen it.
