its been a tradition of mine returning to Silver Will everytime I finish a Trails entry. Just beat Reverie. This masterpiece makes me an emotional mess but the revisit is ALWAYS worth it. Acknowledge the journey the Trails has been, return to the origins of where it started and the song still applies now. RIP you legend Wataru Ishibashi. This song will live on in me till the day I die, Trails been an experience forever worth it.

Same! Well i only played and finished the Trails in the Sky series this year and it’s become one of if not my all time fav series! The writing was out of this world and the character development was probably the most detailed i have ever seen. And this music i agree, this version is awesome. The original i call it Loewe’s battle boss music! So intense

I first discovered this series in 2018 with cold steel randomly while searching for good tbrpgs. Played cold steel 1 for a few hours an eh. Come March of 2019 with quarantine, I was laid off and decided to pick it back up. Was guided by many to start at the very beginning with sky. Perfect opportunity for being off. I remember waking up and playing this game for HOURS man. Played the entire sky trilogy back to back….what a dream. This entire series was just *chefs kiss*. Story wise, I think I still prefer the crossbell duology personally but I think that’s because of how Falcom did the setting. BUT…big but…the sky trilogy will always shine on top for the ost, characters, and just pure emotion from start to finish. I’ve never cried so damn much over a video game before, and I’m not talking like oh booboo *tears* I’m talking full ugly cry I need to get up and walk around. From Joshua and Loewe’s story, to Renne’s past, to just the emotional journey of Estelle to just find her love…omg I’ll never forget it. What an amazing ride
I got into this series with cold steel 1 in 2019 then I went back and played it from the beginning with sky. I agree Sky trilogy had the most emotional story and characters are the best. Crosbell is the best in the series narratively and Cold Steel was good but had alot of flaws which makes it the weakest arc in the series. Can't wait to play Hajimari and Kuro western releases

Trails in the Sky Second Chapter remains one of the greatest jRPG's of all time, and the Sky trilogy remains one of the best gaming trilogies. And this character is a big reason for it.
I just wish cold steel was this good. Don't get me wrong cold steel is still really good but it absolutely pales in comparison to the masterpiece that is the sky trilogy, and it makes me slightly sad.

Trails in the sky series is a much better experience, cold steel is still a great experience but they just didn't do as good of a job as sky series. Also I don't even agree that CS3/4 are better then 1/2, mechanically they bring new things to the table but in terms of story/character design/character development/plot elements CS1/2 is superior to 3/4

Finished the SC game a few days ago and I remember when I first heard this song in the trailer after finishing FC you get a preview of SC unlocked. This song was 🔥🔥🔥 my god all the while playing SC I was waiting in anticipation for this song and blast the speakers. Loved this song!! The game did not disappoint - Loewe’s Battle - and after defeating him (extremely hard). I’ll say this and I thought it was funny: First battle with him in SC, I didn’t know what to expect and so he’s using his S-Craft on me and ofc he also gets a critical bonus…soooo he KO’s my whole team in one atk. 10,000 dmg…I knew already the computer was tired my BS and ready to kill me. Ahhh…what a fun game!!😢
I first played the trails in the sky FC in my psp back in 2011. At that time, if my memory serves me well, we were waiting for the fan translation of the SC :( (poor us).I only got to finish the SC back in 2018. The agony of waiting lol. I am so happy the series has grown so much that we do not need to rely on fan translation anymore.
I just beat him on Nightmare yesterday. First try! Basically just had Richard drag him into a corner and 1v1 him while Kevin, Renne and Joshua support cast from the opposite corner. It was an incredible fight.
Well, Joshua is pretty bad in the 3rd. There is no point bringing him to Cassius. Estelle / Richard easily solo Cassius on Nightmare if you're fine spending your Zerams (5 are enough, with 8 it's pretty easy). If you go for the full team, Estelle, Richard (mandatory), Kevin (mandatory) and Orbal Tita are the best team you can gather there.
I was listening to this after finishing the Crossbell games, just to compare it with Inevitable Struggle, and now I'm crying. Guess I decided which one I prefer.
How do you like Unfathomed Force from Azure? That one is really good too. Top 3 from the 2D era of Trails games. Cold Steel has a really good one too in Blue Destination.
@@MrLimpWrist Oh, Unfathomed Force is amazing, but I compare Inevitable struggle with Silver Will mostly because they play a lot, especially in cool and strong moments. I feel like Inevitable Struggle is the Silver Will of the Crossbell Arc. Unfathomed Force on the other hand played way less than the others, I remember it only playing in the Arianrhod fight, so it just doesn't compete in the same league as the others, not saying that it's better or worse, just that the songs that touch me the most are those that play the most. I have already played Cold Steel 1, and I'm currently pushing CS2 away on my list because FFXIV happened in my life, but I don't remember listening to Blue Destination, maybe it didn't play in CS1?
@@lucasbassan3092 Unfathomed force played maybe 4 times for all the major bosses, but most people only remember it for Arianrhod which is understandable. Blue Destination plays briefly at the end of CS1 but plays more in CS2, kind of like Silver Will played once in FC and became played more in SC.

I remember hearing this for the first time. Already the fight had me pumped. As it played on I was like oh man this slaps. Then I was like wait this song sounds familiar…..then the violin hits and I’m like HMFOGHABDOVJWVAMCOG nearly jumped out of my chair. And the devs used the song at just the right points in the story. Truly one of the best jrpg series I’ve ever played.

From what I've seen, Cold Steel 3 and 4 take place after the Crossbell games, so their business there should be concluded at that point. Free to come back to Erebonia and tear things up.
Vanguard Arkie Renne is confirmed to be in CS4 so Estelle and Joshua showing up is basically a given. Hell, CS4 should see pretty much everyone coming back and should conclude all the stories from Liberl, Crossbell, and Erebonia
When you finally understand why the nightmare arena is called that with this blasting in the background. Lightning flash > armour rend > armour rend > S-Craft. Cassius, we love you but can you kindly not sweep us 5 times at the end of the arena!?
This is the best time to start the series, the remake of the first ever trails game will come out next year, I don't think there will ever be a better game to start the series than this remake.
Well the events of Zero & Ao took place after the 3rd, so maybe XSEED will translate, but oh god, there's nothing to say about this franchise other than Underrated

I Find the game just by chance..I am one of those legends who got into the series with Sky series....and man this game series is My fav game of all time. I have played many Games by now but in terms of story and world Building and twists . In My personal Opinion games like Dragon Quest and FF are just way too overrated . They never gave me the same feels as this game. Though there are some games like Radiant Historia which are just Way underrated . These games need to take to the actual throne in thr world.

Trails in the sky, Trails of Cold Steel and Trails to Zero/Azure are really something else. Even the music is so awesome! And yes, Radiant Historia is also severely underrated....You are right, these games need to take the throne of RPGs
I think it’s the idea of world building and the realism which hit hards. But yet has enough fantasy to reel you in. DQ lacks the realism (although it is there but not that explored,while it has amazing fantasy which is probably why is an gem,I don’t have enough experience on ff to discuss but I think it’s the same)

I just beat trails in the sky SC on nightmare mode and it was my 1st ever Play through of the game in general So I was essentially fighting loewe at I don't know 50% power And I beat him with josette Which really says something My team was level 97 to 96 Which goes to show how powerful he was

I just beat him on Nightmare yesterday. First try! Basically just had Richard drag him into a corner and 1v1 him while Kevin, Renne and Joshua support cast from the opposite corner. It was an incredible fight.
Imagine if Richard didn't have the CraftSpam *screams*

Well, Joshua is pretty bad in the 3rd. There is no point bringing him to Cassius. Estelle / Richard easily solo Cassius on Nightmare if you're fine spending your Zerams (5 are enough, with 8 it's pretty easy). If you go for the full team, Estelle, Richard (mandatory), Kevin (mandatory) and Orbal Tita are the best team you can gather there.

I was listening to this after finishing the Crossbell games, just to compare it with Inevitable Struggle, and now I'm crying.
Guess I decided which one I prefer.
How do you like Unfathomed Force from Azure? That one is really good too. Top 3 from the 2D era of Trails games. Cold Steel has a really good one too in Blue Destination.
@@MrLimpWrist Oh, Unfathomed Force is amazing, but I compare Inevitable struggle with Silver Will mostly because they play a lot, especially in cool and strong moments. I feel like Inevitable Struggle is the Silver Will of the Crossbell Arc. Unfathomed Force on the other hand played way less than the others, I remember it only playing in the Arianrhod fight, so it just doesn't compete in the same league as the others, not saying that it's better or worse, just that the songs that touch me the most are those that play the most. I have already played Cold Steel 1, and I'm currently pushing CS2 away on my list because FFXIV happened in my life, but I don't remember listening to Blue Destination, maybe it didn't play in CS1?
@@lucasbassan3092 Unfathomed force played maybe 4 times for all the major bosses, but most people only remember it for Arianrhod which is understandable. Blue Destination plays briefly at the end of CS1 but plays more in CS2, kind of like Silver Will played once in FC and became played more in SC.
@@MrLimpWrist the one that plays at the end of cs1 is the decisive collision which even though sounds really similar to blue destination they are both different songs

I remember hearing this for the first time. Already the fight had me pumped. As it played on I was like oh man this slaps. Then I was like wait this song sounds familiar…..then the violin hits and I’m like HMFOGHABDOVJWVAMCOG nearly jumped out of my chair. And the devs used the song at just the right points in the story. Truly one of the best jrpg series I’ve ever played.

From what I've seen, Cold Steel 3 and 4 take place after the Crossbell games, so their business there should be concluded at that point. Free to come back to Erebonia and tear things up.
Vanguard Arkie Renne is confirmed to be in CS4 so Estelle and Joshua showing up is basically a given. Hell, CS4 should see pretty much everyone coming back and should conclude all the stories from Liberl, Crossbell, and Erebonia

I Find the game just by chance..I am one of those legends who got into the series with Sky series....and man this game series is My fav game of all time. I have played many Games by now but in terms of story and world Building and twists . In My personal Opinion games like Dragon Quest and FF are just way too overrated . They never gave me the same feels as this game. Though there are some games like Radiant Historia which are just Way underrated . These games need to take to the actual throne in thr world.

Are you me? Hahahaha! Exactly my thoughts! I played Dragon Quest, Final Fantasy, Chrono Cross...but no games gave me as much joy, feels and satisfaction as this series! Trails in the sky, Trails of Cold Steel and Trails to Zero/Azure are really something else. Even the music is so awesome!
And yes, Radiant Historia is also severely underrated....You are right, these games need to take the throne of RPGs
I think it’s the idea of world building and the realism which hit hards. But yet has enough fantasy to reel you in. DQ lacks the realism (although it is there but not that explored,while it has amazing fantasy which is probably why is an gem,I don’t have enough experience on ff to discuss but I think it’s the same)

@@daniyalhussain4174 i agree with you bruh. The game is fabolously made and it's every bit worth of the time. The way the lore spreads and the feels i get. The way everything is connected. It's just a marvel to execute it such beautifully. There are many games who had tried to connect several games to each other but they don't have much success but this game series has connections go each other in such a way that it's beautiful.
I just beat trails in the sky SC on nightmare mode and it was my 1st ever Play through of the game in general
So I was essentially fighting loewe at I don't know 50% power
And I beat him with josette Which really says something
My team was level 97 to 96 Which goes to show how powerful he was
