If your cat is urinating outside of the litter box it probably has an infection or some other sort of illness. It's not "mad". Please get your kitty checked out, that's a really bad sign since cats are clean and like their environment clean too.

My parents actually have the flower fountain thing for their cat. He had a habit of splashing his water bowl all over the floor and that fountain prevents him from doing it.
Nik Freshour i bought it for my cat too. She wouldn't drink out of her water bowl. Just from flowing water out of the sink so I bought this fountain now she has a water source that's 24/7 flowing. I'm really glad I bought it and I can recommend it. My cat is starting to get old and drinking a lot prevents kidney problems.Sry for english
I wish I'd known about it when I had my cat that would keep batting water out of his dish to lick it off his paw. He splashed it everywhere and wouldn't drink it out of the bowl for some reason. But he liked to drink out of the toilet when it was freshly flushed, so I think he had a problem with sitting water.

one of my cats loves to do that. i've bought him a drinking fountain before but i think the sound of the motor scared him because he wouldn't go near it. sometimes i find the bowl completely upside down lol, i have no idea what his problem is at this point

it's food, you put a whole serving on that toy instead of in a dish, my cat eats from a toy also, but different than this one.
Vasectomy Fail If it's just crunchy food that's fine, but they said it was treats in the video so I assumed they were cat treats. There's nothing wrong with just putting food in it, since I'm guilty of leaving a bowl of crunchy cat food out all day for my cats, it'd be better if I put it in something like this as they can "hunt" for it instead. It's a good idea for food!
We made our own "puzzle" thingy for our cat. We give her a bowl with food at certain hours during the day and leave some food in the puzzle the whole day so that she can eat it whenever she wants even if it is not a lot and at least she has to work for it and not just lazily eat off the bowl.
My cats eat from a normal bowl... If they want to "play" and eat at the same time they just go outside to go "play" with some birds or mouses, they also love moles... Pretty useful cats for my garden :)
I wish I could let my cats outdoors but I live in a city with a lot of busy streets and I'm afraid they'd get hit by a car. I've seen a few dead cats on the road and had to take off their collars and tell their owners. :(
When I was a new cat mommy I fell for these things, but 4 years of watching my cats play more with the boxes these toys come from rather than the toy that I spent good money on and I learnt my lesson.....somewhat. The feeder thingy looks cool, so does the water fountain.

I think the wooden cat tree is ugly, honestly none of them are good looking but the wooden one looks so weird. If I saw that in someone's home I'd think it'd look bad. Yoite Yea I thought it that cat tree looked pretty weird and ugly and took up waaayyy too much space. It was weird that it cost that much, yet the bottom of the shelves are so easy to see and it makes it look cheap. And the rugs! great that they are replaceable but I think most cats would pull them up fairly quickly! I've seen much better looking pricey cat trees that take up less space and almost look like fancy book shelves.

I am not buying another piece of cat furniture (see has 3 beds) because the only place my cat wants to sleep is in my bed, on my chairs or my clothes if they are laying around.
Cats like their humans' scent. You can try rubbing some clothes that you've worn on the cat tree, or put something like an unwashed (but not grossly dirty) pillowcase in the cat bed so it smells like you.
Terry Edwards I had that problem until I moved all of the cat beds in front of the heat registers lol. They love having the beds spread out and in a warm place.

Try throwing a piece of clothing you don't care about in the beds and maybe then the cat will use it.
For some reason, our cat is in love with my husbands feet and any of his clothing. We bought the cat a cooling pad for the summer - he wouldn't use it. Then I put one of husbands shirts on it and now he'll use it when it is hot and available. Bought the cat a heating pad for the winter (we have no heat) - cat would not go anywhere near it. Placed it under two of husbands shirts and now the cat loves it. Cat didn't want to go into his carrier, placed husbands used sock in the back of it and now it's his new home. Cat's are so damn weird.

I bought a new 55 inch office desk and chair on Amazon, which I placed in front of my 48 inch wide bedroom window. Well, it WAS ostensibly for ME, but my cat decided otherwise. For TWO MONTHS he would never leave it, except to do his business, and immediately return. He slept on the chair, he slept sprawled on the desk, he sat for hours watching the birds, refused to eat anywhere except on "his" desk. I was ready to buy him notebooks, pens, and start a library for this curious little soul. Finally, like a kid with a new toy, he began to regain interest in his old haunts, and now makes me quite happy again, sleeping on my bed right next to me! Yes, he still loves watching the outside world, and has informed me it's the best place for dinner in our neighborhood.

I'm getting almost ALL of these, except the self cleaning litter box shown here. I found an EVEN BETTER ONE!! I'm getting the fountain water bowl with filter, the big exercise wheel, the food/ treat PUZZLE tray, (that's an inexpensive no-brainer) and the lovely wooden cat "tree" that acts as a claw sharpener and a perch!! I recently got a cat (after several years of being without one) from a woman who moved away, and asked me if I would adopt her cat, cuz she knows how much I love cats. I took in a very weak, sickly, little girl who had never been to a vet! I was appalled by her eyes, ears, and tummy infections! I got her spayed, got all her infections healed, had dental surgery performed on her (all for the low, low cost of just under 24 HUNDRED DOLLARS, and I am NOT a wealthy guy!) and now I have a BEAUTIFUL, blue eyed, creamy furred baby who loves me TO DEATH!! She has a striped tail like a Raccoon and orange stripes on her forehead! She looks like a cross between a Siamese cat and a Raccoon!!! She went from hardly moving and NEVER playing, to being a rambunctious, playful, jumping, diving, super healthy and happy little creamy colored PANTHER!! And SHE LOVES her new Daddy!!! She sleeps in the bed with me and rubs her face against mine. She sits on my shoulder and makes a sound something between a cat purr and a pigeon coo! It's so nice! I call it the "pretty music". She's seven years old and probably would have only lasted another 2 or 3 years before dying, BLIND, due to the lack of care she was receiving. I am SO HAPPY this little girl found ME! (the Vet said she's very lucky to have found me!) I hope I can give her SEVERAL years of healthy happiness by my side! This is one of the best things I've EVER done! I wish more people would realize that owning a cat, or ANY pet, involves A LOT MORE than just feeding it, cleaning up it's poop and giving it some affection!!! People need to have their pets neutered and seen by a Vet. REGULARLY!! It AIN'T HARD! And it AIN'T that expensive, when you consider what most people WASTE money on FOR THEMSELVES!!! PLEASE PEOPLE!!!!! TAKE CARE OF YOUR ANIMALS!!!!

The ad for the first one was a worthwhile pursuit, great observance of anthropomorphic expression! I like that your pets can power your home with that treadmill ( they are all so slim!!). The PetCube is cool, you can make your pet chase a projection at home, using your cell phone, causing them to knock over things, igniting a fire that will burn down your home with your beloved fur-babies inside, while you watch helplessly in a different time-zone...

For some reason, my 4 month old kitten LOVES straws. She gets very excited when I go to the draw where we keep out straws. I tend to throw them, and shell sprint after them. And then roll around whilst biting and chewing and clawing them. And they hold it in her mouth and strut off to her little cat tree.

Cool stuff... not the litter box thing though, that's just overkill :) UPDATE: I was visiting with a neighboring dairy farm owner, she said that people from the city dump off kittens routinely, thinking that they will live "happy" on a farm. Truth is that maybe one in ten of those "drop-offs" make it. Adopting a Farm/Barn kittie isn't a bad thing. I agree that rescue shelters need support also, thank you for all of your comments.

the design of the tree is also poor, it doesn't seem that there is enough space between the branches for the cats to move well and to have the scratching parts long enough.

I love the 'surveillance' one, because they certainly 'surveil'! The one I really want is the water fountain. My cat only wants running water, which I get tired of. If I fill the bathroom sink, he acts like he doesn't see it. He slipped this morning and fell into the water. I laughed so hard! I'd also love the tower. He's outside most of the time in warm weather.
