He made a comment about the Theater of Pain era being embarrassing, but I have the fondest memories of listening to the Crew at that time and probably my favorite album from them.
6:28, Fucking Exactly, I'm Catholic :) I am a strong believer but I'm also a Fucking Rocker\Metalhead. Shout at the Devil is one of those songs that Empowers me, give me strength, and that pentagram is so controversial on that album and that's one reason why I love it, It looks fucking killer on the album it works together. How many people attack horror films such as the Devil inside, or The hills have eyes, maybe a few but not many, but yet they attack METAL and the headheads who love it and would defend it til they die, including me, I will stand up for Metal and the Metalhead rockers who get shit for doing what they love and defend metalheads from fake poser metalheads. The album art, and some of the lyrical content are really no different from a horror film, or any kind of movie film, stupid people. But that's one reason why I love Metal and stay a Metalhead. They underestimate us and what we are capable of. Stay true Rockers and Metalheads, be strong and SHOUT AT THE DEVIL \m/
I sent my answer to that contest at the end today I hope I win. I totally got the answer right. I doubt many people waited to the end so my odds a great. Heck, some people might not even know how to use a pen and paper and the postal system. I am so gonna win.
What pisses me off is that when Nikki Sixx had an accident he was drunk but they did not make any case with this speed accident the drug and alcohol can kill too but was just an accident he could have killed people and hurt others what others in the group would have done what they did to Vince Neil did I do not think Nikki Sixx would have been put aside like Vince's daughter passed away and the guys in the group did not even go to him to support him they drank and took drugs instead of supporting their brother that's how they say they are but who can do that to a brother and Neil Vince returned despite everything they said about him on TV and in magazines but they are still in my life and I listen to them very often and I watch interviews and videos the 80s and 90s were the best years of my life
yes, sir. When Aerosmith made their '87 comeback, it was a wayyy commercial and a little over done. They lost something and so did the crue. It's funny how the stones never really did the sober thing and if they did they didn't beat it in the ground. It's all the crue and aerosmith really speak of.
+charlton mcmillen I seriously question how much of their story is bullshit and how much is pure propaganda. Think about it. How can you pull off the intensity of 2 hour shows, in different cities, that fucked up every other night for 12 to 18 months?
u'd be surprised what one can do under the influence of hard drugs. The stones did it in the 60's and70's. As far as the crue, it shows in the performances in the 80's, off key, outta tune, forgotten words, and being off balance during shows. I know most of what we hear from bands is bs but, there's not a doubt in my mind that as far as motley in the 80's, they truly were addicts first, and a band second, But, that's what attracted me to them as most fans then, they were dangerous and wild and none of thought they would make it out alive.
+charlton mcmillen charlton, Motley are much worse live nowadays & they're mostly sober. also, they said that their sobriety made them a better live band in 1989-90 but the evidence doesn't really bear this out. Motley never sounded good live
Its always that way. The quiet ones are the ones you watch out for as well as being the greatest musicians .On the guitar mick has few peers except maybe Hendrix' Lynch' rhodes and van halen.
OK "Evil can't get in so it's actually a good symbol" dam they were young and a gang at the time how they've changed today in some ways that is good because they might not be around and glad they returned the favor to Y&T because before Shout at the devil Y&T took them on tour I seen that show on Halloween great show for Halloween people were asking who's Motley Crue
I think it's hilarious the way they try to explain how they are not Satan worshipers. They did it for attention, it was obvious. But it did have some unintended karma....
These guys fuckin' crack me up. What a great band with a great attitude! When I was a kid I had to put up with the religious bullshit and sneak listening to them. Now they are all over classic rock radio. Fuck the parents (I have 5 kids now!) and fuck the religious!! Rock on Crue!
I think it's funny Sixx had the balls to compare Motley to the Stones, sorry bud you guys are far from that! Dig yer band, but the Stones had way more impact on music than your party band ever did.
I think it's funny that you find it funny that Nikki Sixx has the balls to do ANYTHING. He pretty well has always said and done what he wanted to, WHEN he wanted to. And saying that the band is influenced by the Stones isn't saying they're on that level.
Motley Crue wasn't as mainstream as the Rolling Stones but they got up there with them. Motley Crue is right up there with Metallica and GNR. The only bands that could be higher than them are Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath.
Sixx; blessed with good looks, song-writing chops and a brain in his head - love the guy
😂 good looks..
Sixx looks like a joke, he is feminine..
Tommy Lee....
The man just wanted a Christmas tree
How can you not love that?
Nikki the coolest brains behind the coolest Band in.. Motley Crüe!!
He made a comment about the Theater of Pain era being embarrassing, but I have the fondest memories of listening to the Crew at that time and probably my favorite album from them.
Theater of Pain is one of my favorite Crue albums! Maybe cuz I saw that tour so many times in 85!
Mick mars... the riff master! . Period.
That mom was never the same again 🤘 lol @9:30
I entered that contest. Still check the mailbox every day. Wish me luck
Lol at Vince’s description of the pentagram
Lmao he was drugged af tho
For Nikki Sixx I'd sell my soul all in the name of ROCK N ' ROLL

I read your entire rant & I agree
The daughter at 9:30 must look back at that moment with a sense of pride
Crue head 4 life
Pablo Moreno and death, put a pentagram on my tombstone.
Nikki Sixx .Rules!!
Ironically, Congress mandating an explicit rating for those albums guaranteed greater sales.

Did you

Totally agree
Could you imagine Motley Crue playing pop songs
Hahaha
sobriety killed the crue. once they were sober, they fought over everything and got interested in doin' other things than contributing to the crue.
charlton mcmillen same for Aerosmith..
yes, sir. When Aerosmith made their '87 comeback, it was a wayyy commercial and a little over done. They lost something and so did the crue. It's funny how the stones never really did the sober thing and if they did they didn't beat it in the ground. It's all the crue and aerosmith really speak of.

Shit hit the fan shortly after this for the Crue!!!
Awesome!
xoxo The Clarences
4:38 the real devil worshippers...the world leaders.
They should have made a video with Mick Mars playing guitar surrounded by a bunch of nude women and as he plays his guitar he spins around real fast
+Crimson7588
Damn! Where were you in 1985?!
MC we're a party boys group
Mick did not say a word!
Its always that way. The quiet ones are the ones you watch out for as well as being the greatest musicians .On the guitar mick has few peers except maybe Hendrix' Lynch' rhodes and van halen.

i know the answer and i'm going to win the grand prize.
Bullshit. Motley Crue rocks!!! ☮️
I think it's hilarious the way they try to explain how they are not Satan worshipers. They did it for attention, it was obvious. But it did have some unintended karma....
Jon Huy if you dont rep Satan you don't get paid. They all do it..Beatles, stones
They were satanists, or at least Nikki was..his limo driver talked about taking Nikki to rituals with Anton levey
Haha yeah Vince’s pentagram explanation cracked me up
So bands got sued for provocative lyrics back then? Fuck its only a song dammit not to be taken literally and is raw emotion fuck sensory
+Logan Priest
Sensory is your senses. You mean censorship.
weird doc ... lol

I don’t think he was comparing Mötley to the Stones. He was just describing how Stones influenced Mötley after Shout.
I think it's funny that you find it funny that Nikki Sixx has the balls to do ANYTHING. He pretty well has always said and done what he wanted to, WHEN he wanted to. And saying that the band is influenced by the Stones isn't saying they're on that level.
He said they were a "Rolling Stones INFLUENCED band." Totally different from saying they are on the same level as them.
Motley Crue wasn't as mainstream as the Rolling Stones but they got up there with them. Motley Crue is right up there with Metallica and GNR. The only bands that could be higher than them are Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath.
@@matthewvoss7365 ??? Metallica & GnR don't have to rely on a package tour of established bands to get a big turn out for their stadium tours.
8:34 Mick Mars being like a boss he is! What show is that though?
