  • Rosenrot is the fifth studio album by the German Neue Deutsche Härte band Rammstein, released on October 28, 2005 on the Universal Music Group record label.
Rosenrot contains six songs not included in the album Reise, Reise, one song written for the album Mutter, and four new compositions. The CD was originally supposed to be called Reise, Reise Volume Two, but on August 18, 2005 it was announced under the name Rosenrot.
The artwork was almost entirely borrowed from the Japanese version of Reise, Reise released a year before. The cover shows a slightly edited photo of the icebreaker USS "Atka", taken on March 13, 1960 in Antarctica at McMurdo Station.
While Rammstein did not actively promote the album, the band created the expectation of a new release in various ways; the first single from the album, "Benzin", premiered at Berliner Wuhlheide, was subsequently released on CD.
