My friend just did Citadel first interview. It started of with C++ STL knowledge (he struggled with this) so He would advise anyone going into this interview to study this thoroughly. Then he moved onto a standard LC medium which he found to be the easiest part of the interview. The interviewer was a really nice guy, I think it was obvious tho that he didn’t have a great understanding of the intricate details of C++ so to anyone doing this interview in the future he would definitely study up on C++ and how it works. I hope you are able to make a more deep video about what type of questions they ask regarding c++ language
I thought they let you pick which language to use
I solved over 300 LC using C++, should I learn C++ separately
Thanks, man. Appreciate the free tips!
Thanks for this video ! Will love to know how you practised for technical interviews! And how you got Uber internship
inspiring!
thank you!
Thank for the video, can you do one on networking and getting interviews?
what kind of projects do you recommend to do to get a good chance at an internship? thanks bro
Hey can you share your resume for reference on what to add and what not to so that it passes the screening?? Or you have any samples if possible?
Hey man I’m thinking of self-studying CS61B. I’ve heard a lot of good things about this course and how it really prepares you for internship interviews. What was your experience through the course ?
yes! 61B was an amazing class and is pretty much the core class for SWE interviews at Berkeley, and I definitely learned a lot from taking it. I assume you aren't a Berkeley student but I'm sure you can audit 61B easily, there should be instructions on the course website somewhere
I'm sure the background had something to do with them first of all calling you for the interview lol
Are you FIFO? Bc you are a queue
I just did the OA. I did well on the first question. The second question was challenging, I gave it a good go that shows good thinking but did not ultimately come up with a working solution in the time allotted. Do only people who answer both questions correctly move forward, or do I have a chance?
Have you get any mail
So what were the OA questions like in terms of difficulty, and what were some of the technical questions that were asked
1 hard 1 medium-hard
@@frankli2425 Hey man, did you study IT in Qut?
@@frankli2425 Are you still in Brisbane?
hey I am doing my Btech in chemical engineering from IITH(India). But I am doing programming and other stuff so can I apply for Citadel SDE intern.
Just wanted to know that it is compulsory to have c++ as I am doing everything in python??
Bad decision. Doing only python wont land you much. You dont deal with intricate memory allocations and pointers and everything in python, so you definitely need Cpp or C, just for the understanding.
just clicked on this video to comment, nerd!!!!
