I like to imagine the Reaper was using it's thermobaric explosion's out of frustration of its guns being outplayed by a tree and a rock lol

The reaper is definitely a fun thing to fight. I hope in the future there will be more boss type enemies with unique abilities.

@@TenebrisInfinite you've must have spent some time studying the weaknesses of the Reaper to inflict that much damage so quickly.
Imagine a harvester reaper or a kind of reaper trio with three fast bois.
Maybe even reaper packs with 30 insanely strong dogs
looks pretty boring to me...duck behind tree until u can shoot. meh
I hope the next boss would be aerial. See how the Runners come from the sky? It could be whatever drops them, and maybe fire rockets? Call it the Corvus or Widowmaker or something. That'd be cool, yes? Then we'd have that and the Reaper.
This is truly a fight you can’t get out of any other game.

Halfway through I realized that was a *forcefield*
After learning this it became no easier to deal with
Took 2 hours
And I got an experimental sledge…
I adore this game but I absolutely hate with every cell in my body too.
It's only hard because devs are derps and made it's shield gens stay up for damn near forever, if they reduce the time of the shield gens uptime, it'll be a much better fight

I love this game. it's crazy how I found it by accident. I'm glad I did lol.
After a few hundred of these it's still fun to fight but...idea...allow a Reaper to spawn in each region...get 8 Reapers...they combine into a Super Reaper. The amount of grinding that would have to be done is terrifying but I'm sure it would be an epic battle. Reward would have to be something amazing...unlimited Plundra/resource storage, +5 skill points, a Gnome Hat, a motorcycle, a boat...
Thanks for the tips and videos. Spent over three hours trying to bring it down. Used up ALL my ammo and resources. Then watched your video on waiting after the red shield goes off and taking out the generators on the legs! Finished it off in 10 minutes at 50%.
It's been a spell since I played this game but I found that this enemy model is particularly vulnerable from the back side. What is meant to be a challenging engagement is pretty easy with a rocket to the back side as it's unarmored.

Tough is an understatement
The reaper's missile barrage have become a headache, now it can predict your movements when you try to avoid it by any direction.

Fought this for the first time just now. Despite realizing pretty early it had a shield and how to disable it, I think I spent well over a thousand .50 BMG AP from a purple PVG, 160 simple health kits, and 3 hours of my time on just this thing. I was NOT prepared.
I joined we some randoms game,reaper spawned in and they all wanted to fight it. I'm only level 16 but I got me first experimental weapon, the g3 can't member ingame name haha, was an epic fight

No but those schematics are coming at some point! Right now theres only one method and its quite painful, but i might make a vid on it cuz i have to restock ticks soon :D
yeah thats cute and all but try doing this with only the moller and hunters rifle with limited ammo and health packs and a few explosive tanks ;)
hello great your video I made the bosses evolve on the level 4 map but still no reaper how to make it appear please?
Bro, the first time I fought it i lit it up wth 7.62 AP ammo. It took 3000 7.62 AP and 500 50 bmg AP.
So far i have defeated him 6 times

I lost all my saves from when the gsme came out , i logged in and it said corrupt save file. So the thing is im supposed to help my 68 yearold father beat this machine after work today. Any tips ?
The reaper is cool and all but isn’t really anything new. It’s just an op tank, we need more boss types that are new and cool. We could have something like a mechanical worm-looking-thing or a giant tick. Maybe even a new enemy class (not a new enemy type) but something like a more over powered radiation class. But having new enemies or bosses we don’t want them to look like humans because it would ruin the game, we should have something so epic that it has new abilities and everything. It should have things we’ve never seen before and new exp weapon drops. We should have exp armour that actually functions and makes a difference to gameplay. We could have so much cool stuff like an analysis visor (which is basically just a fully upgraded binocular built in to your helmet) it would have thermal vision, night vision and x-ray. It could also have a missile targeting system for a new exp thermal rocket launcher. This game has so much potential it’s unreal but the developement team is finally beginning to speed up and produce great updates, i Cannot wait for this game to be updated fully

This is the Reaper. Basically the secret boss type for the Tank. Just max out your regions threat level to 24 by destroying every machine that doesn't have a name.
Lore on this thing is it was suppose to be a mass produced model by FNIX but the AI plans got interrupted and the bunker that was producing this model was destroyed.

I was fighting the reaper with some dude and he might help me to getting the Exp Hammer.

First, I have no idea how to find the reaper. Second, is anyone else on Xbox still having issues with broken assignments? I thought they fixed those but every day I try again and it's always 0/10, 0/20
I think in order for a reaper to spawn, you need a region above level 21.
Your region level has to be level 21 or higher. He has a chance to spawn if you meet those requirements. Also you can't have 8 rivals in a region and have the reaper as he counts as a rival
As well to add a small bit assignments right now are in a w.i.p state, so they may not function as intended till we see another update or so!

I wasted so much ammo, I didn't realise he was using shield and had 4 weak points 🤣, I still got the last laugh and got one of my experiemental weapson back from this fight, A classic battle, We need more fights like this from bosses 🥹
