To play in a tribute band and have someone from the history of the band jam a song with you is the ultimate!!! RIP Bob Kulick your chapter in the history of KISS will never be forgotten.
@Shannon Rehwinkel Bob was "really, really good" according to Paul (Paul's words) but it was b/c of his 'look" that prevented him in getting the gig. Bob was more productive in terms of musical output and musical contirbutions than Ace during those prime years.
Bob was a tasty guitar player and will be missed..When Bob participated with his brother on the Kiss Kruise a couple of years ago,it was scratched off my bucket list..I always wanted the Kulick brothers to play together and jam out Kiss tunes all night..Just awesome RIP Bob..you'll be jamming with the greats in heaven
Fun fact about Bob Kulick....he played guitar with W.A.S.P. on some of their albums in the early-mid nineties & Blackie Lawess has always said Bob absolutely did a fantastic job!!
BOB KULICK definitely had his very own sound & technique and here's the proof... Sadly he passed away today at the ripe age of 70 according to his brothers post today... BRUCE KULICK. What a FKN killer string bend & style.. shredders can KISS my ASS ! 😝🤟 R.I.P. BOB KULICK 😌✌ May 2020 #bobkulick Jimmy Kay Bruce Kulick #kiss #genesimmons #paulstanley #acefrehley #guitarist #marshallamps #lespaul
@@immanuel_cunt7688 -- Well, let's not get carried away. When you watch Classic KISS, Paul is ALL OVER THE STAGE with his energy - even between lines of the song. This guy is very still compared to Classic Paul. But his voice and his phrasing are really good.
I had the awesome pleasure of seeing Bob Kulick live in support of Paul Stanley's first solo tour, after his first solo album came out! One of the hottest shows i've ever seen! Out on Long Island somewhere.... we drove in from Jersey.
I’ve seen this cover band multiple times, they are phenomenal. I saw Bob join them once at a kiss expo. He kept cranking up his Marshall stack throughout the performance, to the point that my eardrums were vibrating. It was pretty cool.
I hope Bob gets/got the recognition he deserved. Just like Lee Kerslake finally receiving his multi-platinum records, for his contribution on Ozzy Osbourne's first two records, so should Bob have the same treatment for his great works with Kiss. But I'm sure the members of Kiss are classy enough that they've already fulfilled this years ago. Must have been hard for Bob to keep his Kiss contribution secret for so long. I remember listening to Kiss Alive II in the late seventies early eighties and like everyone else, never knowing that there was a secret guitarist playing on those tracks. Not sure if Bob was one of many session guitarist , like the Wrecking Crew, but I wouldn't be surprised. R.I.P. Bob. You're music will remain with us all.
1) Bob was well paid, and well-respected as a session and live guy 2) Bob was on a few tracks in the catalog, but it's not like he recorded albums of stuff for KISS. 3) Lots of people back in the day, didn't know it was Kulick or Wagner on those tracks, but no one with ears ever thought it was actually Ace playing those solos - we all just figured that it was Paul taking a lead spot.
That was badass! A fourth side tune I heard for the first time at the age of seven and dismissed, and now feel like I'm just hearing for the first time again at an age much older and loving it!
When I was a kid this side of the album always made my eyes big. Something about it made it refreshing and little did I know who. Thankyou Bob I wouldnt trade it for all the gold in the world. Paul up there singin it like the hit it is!!!
When I clicked on this, I thought it was video from one of the Kiss cruises with Bob as a guest. Didn't realize it was a cover band until I was reading the comments.
I barely noticed it was a cover band. What gave it away for me was the Gene Simmons guy flicking his tongue kinda like Gene does, just that it is alot smaller than Gene's lol its ok buddy not every guy has a huge tongue. Lol some guys have bigger tongues than others lol
First off, much admiration for Mr. Speed looking and sounding like the real deal. Secondly, you can tell how much of a genuinely passionate musician Bob Kulick was by how energetic he was even just playing as a guest for a tribute band at a smaller venue. His smile was contagious :) Rest in Peace, Bob P.S. Thanks for taking the time to share this! It was awesome 🤝
WOW, can't believe it. Does Mr Speed remember coming to Myerstown PA about 10yrs ago to play a wedding? Had a great time with you guys. Lots of fun and of course Great Music.
When I was a kid, I noticed those solos were different. They're harder than Ace's usual licks. You can't deny this guy is good, he contributed to the "KISS sound" . Alive II was an iconic classic!!
the added studiotracks always seemed mediocre to me. Rocket ride on which Bob appearantly does not play always has been the stand out track. I think it was a wrong decision to add studiotrackss on a livealbum. They could at least have replaced them with stand outs which were NOT on ALIVE 1
These guys look more like KISS that KISS do! What an awesome version of a classic song! Bob deserved much more credit than he got for his work behind the scenes.
How about this? Ace puts this song on his next cover album, gets Rich Kozak (This very excellent Starchild.) to sing it and he interprets what he would have played on this song if he hadn't been saving everything for his '78 solo album?
I know that within the KISS community there was and is mixed feelings about Bob but he was a maniac on guitar and there is no denying his role in KISStory. He will be missed.
RIP Bob you were their when ACE wasnt
It's fucked up man that we loss this man great guitarist and producer may you Rest in peace Bob you was one of the greatest and will be missed
For people who don't know Bobby kulick he was one of the best guitarst and a phenomenal session player of all time and that's a fact!!!
Bob and Bruce two kick ass rocking bros!!.
To play in a tribute band and have someone from the history of the band jam a song with you is the ultimate!!! RIP Bob Kulick your chapter in the history of KISS will never be forgotten.
R.I.P. Bob, and thanks for all the smoking guitar solos with Kiss and W.A.S.P.
Rest in peace Bob, thanks for the memories
@Shannon Rehwinkel What memories? The recordings he left behind. His signature will always be there.
He & his brother bruce are superb guitarists...🤘
Did he died a month ago?
@Shannon Rehwinkel Bob was "really, really good" according to Paul (Paul's words) but it was b/c of his 'look" that prevented him in getting the gig. Bob was more productive in terms of musical output and musical contirbutions than Ace during those prime years.
@@roamlikekane His Look? I mean weren't they wearing makeup? And couldn't they make him 'look' anyway they wanted?
RIP Bobby K! Thank you. 🙏🏻🙏🏻

What a great solo
One of my favorite KISS 💋 songs. The man sounds so much like Paul Stanley. RIP Bob.
R.I.P. Bob Kulick. You effing ROCKED! I will never forget seeing you play live for Paul's first solo tour... just AMAZING!
Them Kulick boys sure know how to lay it down.
my name is robert. great work mr. speed. that was an awesome version of all american man.
Bob was badass!!! RIP
Fantastic guitarist and person! RIP buddy...

That is the best looking and best sounding KISS tribute band I have ever seen.
Bob is awesome!
Man, that Paul sounds authentic!
This line is the best that I've seen, they were featured at the Whisky a couple years ago on Greatest Tribute Bands.
Yeah, Paul sounds so good ... It's almost exactly like the record. Hey! You don't suppose ...
A great sounding Paul.
Dude, actually this guy sounds and acts more stanleyish than Paul himself! 😂😂😂

Excellent🎉🎉🎉
Solid player.....
Bob is on fire!
*R.I.P. Bob!*
Rest in peace Bob 1950 - 2020 🌷⭐🎶
Bob tore that one up and played like a real pro...RIP Bob Kulick...!!

oh yeah!!! the original and real guitar man of this song
Sad to hear of Bob passing away....my heart & condolences go out to his family and friends and all his fans who loved him
Kiss should hire this Paul
Awesome
Rest in Peace Bob ☝️🙄☝️

RIP Bob Kulick :(
These kulick brothers can freaking play bro!
I had that same electric guitar that Bob was playing back in the 1980's!
Better tell Paul there's a great replacement ready to make Kiss great again. Problem is Paul doesn't know when to quit.
Right man! This guy sounds better than Paul!!!
amazing!, great looking and sounding band too!
Just found this. Love it. RIP BK
That was pretty great! Rest well Bob.
RIP Bob....Love you man

Guy finally is in kiss.
🤣
@ Ace also developed into a decent songwriter and singer. He brought more to the table than just his guitar playing.
RIP BOB , what an axeman !
How about this? Ace puts this song on his next cover album, gets Rich Kozak (This very excellent Starchild.) to sing it and he interprets what he would have played on this song if he hadn't been saving everything for his '78 solo album?
that rocked just as good as .... Alive II !!! Nice to hear again..
He plays pretty much like Ace Frehley, sounds cool. I know he played on the studio version, but he was just playing ace style.
RIP Bob, rock on the big sky above
RIP. Bob 💔
Back in da' day, I saw Paul Stanley's mini tour with Mr. Kulick at the shithole City Gardens in Trenton...is bery good, bery goood...
I wonna give this a thousand thumbs up!
Kick ass
The Grammy Award winner, and the (quite good) cover band.
2:11 -- Ace back there, thinking, "Man, even in this TRIBUTE BAND, they bring in Bob Kulick to play lead guitar on this track! I can't win!"
These guys are better than the "real" KISS is these days. They should go out on their own End Of The Road tour once the COVID settles down.
Wow I hate I just discovered Bob smh R.I.P. Bob 😥
Rest in pease
That guy sounds just like Paul! But... definitely NOT the energy of Paul in the 70's
HOLY SHYT, THAT KICKED MAJOR ASS!!! That was awesome Bruce, so glad I got to play Sunday softball with you many years ago!
Fuck yeah!!! You guys kill 🤘 favorite song! Thanks fellas!

Bob Kulicks finest hours were with Balance...................
Bob Kulick is the Shit
This was so good I was fooled...
Rip brother
Awesome !!
R.I.P.
Man, that SG that Bob is slinging has killer tone!!
That killer tone comes from Bob's fingers, his attack, bending and phrashing for sure.
Foto_Jornalista 1971 Absolutely!
I know that within the KISS community there was and is mixed feelings about Bob but he was a maniac on guitar and there is no denying his role in KISStory. He will be missed.
En paz descanse mister Bob kullic gran guitarrista
They're a good cover band for sure.
Best KISS cover band EVER!!!
Like to see him play more Kiss songs live
Bob rocked. Rip.
