This episode gave me chills and talk about timing. This feels like a turning point for these dudes that might propel them even further into these playoffs and beyond. We love them because they embody NY with their play, but they're admittedly young and I don't think fully grasp this moment and this place. To be fair, there's a lot of history in NY and a lot of what Tracy talks about are experiences and events that you have to have grown up hearing or lived through to fully understand. Tracy just gave them a powerful education on what it means to be a New Yorker (from the grime to the limelight), play in MSG, respect what's come before them, and be grateful for what lies ahead. Looking at them sit silently and being deferential while Tracy talks about his life is a sign of young men paying an OG respect and it makes me respect them even more. They may not fully understand the knowledge and love Tracy is imparting on them here, but if they end up creating a legacy in NY I can imagine them looking back at this moment as an important part of that journey.
