My father LOVED Clyde and we watched every game. He passed away in 2021 from Cancer and all I could think about while watching is how much of a pleasure to my father it would have been to watch this.

Josh Hart decribing how he rebounds reminds me of Jeter at shortstop, he just read the ball off the bat quicker than almost everybody. Same with Josh, he might not be 7 foot but he reads the ball off the shot and bounce. Awesome. Jalen and Clyde our GOATS.

It was cool seeing my dude Clyde Frazier on the show but I thought that they would ask him some questions to let us learn more about our legend and his upbringing, special times he experienced as a New York Knicks champion. The Roommates needed an additional hour to go in deep with Clyde. Maybe in the future they will do 2 hour specials when they have extraordinary guests on the podcast. I am a diehard Knicks fan who loved to watch Clyde do his thing. Clyde's restaurant was 🔥 as well as his dress and cool demeanor. Keep up the great job on the court and your podcast. So, 1973, I am 12 and in basketball camp, NY State.
Who shows up? Walt Frazier shows up.
20 of us little monsters mobbed him. He took a ball, started dribbling and dared us to try and get it away from him.
20 kids. TWENTY. And...we absolutely could not get the ball from him.
He could dribble with one finger of one hand. He could dribble the ball 2 inches off the ground.
20 of us! We were like a swarm. And we still couldn't get the ball from him!
Dean Meminger, from the Knicks, he was also there. He would do this drill, where he would shoot from the free throw line, make the ball hit the front of the rim, and bounce right back to him, one bounce! Saw him do that 10 times in a row.
Another guy was there, a 3 point expert, from the old ABA. I saw that guy hit 30 in a row, from 3 point range.
The skill level of these pros, was beyond description.
And, you know, all nice people. When we were trying to get the ball away from Frazier, he had a huge smile, ear to ear, on his face...the entire time. You know, the guy was a complete star. He didn't have to hang out with us little kids and play with us. Just, you know, an entirely good dude.

I love the show, but this was really a special treat. I grew up watching Clyde. I absolutely LOVED him. Back then, the student organization gave us tickets to all the Knicks games and I don't think I ever missed one. I was just a kid, but I remember women throwing their panties - not sure if they were throwing them to Clyde or Willis Reed. I screamed at the top of my lungs, but I kept my panties on...lol (Given my age at the time, they were probably Dr. Denton's....lol)
