She really is underrated. I've loved her since I first discovered her in the '90s. I was beside myself when I saw that she was performing again. I seem to follow the artists that a lot of people don't.
Literally every singer has comments saying they are underrated. She had a few big hits. There are tons of singers that would love to be as successful as she was in her peak.
If people don't take time emotionally stretch, they are likely to develop personality disorders. This song (and all her work) are wonderful medicine to help prevent this. Natalie, I hope I get to meet you someday. You have quite literally changed my life. A adore you, you marvelous person!

I one million percent agree. singers shouldn't hit notes like robots, most of my favourite songs that are truely emotive are either pre autotune, or have simple production that let the voice and instruments co exist naturally. Rather than sculpting out every 'bad frequency' and correcting the pitch un-naturally. Its why pop songs sound so bland nowadays, metal is weak as hell now, no rawness, drum and bass / electronic music in general is mixed to be so clean it has no crunch like classic dance music or 90's hip hop for example. Popular stuff now like emo rap is ALL autotune, cant feel it at all besides the odd artist. We are not far off AI making albums catered to our listening habits and what we've clicked like on over the years so we'll click it more and that content will be successful. Music really went downhill after this term 'content' is used to describe art. It makes it so disposable and for an audience that just wants more and more content content CONTENT. That's why it can just be bland shit because there is so much of it always coming out, its quantity over quality with music nowadays, fuck things like Spotify.
