Late reply but I’m guessing that it is a stereo project and combining the two full range channels would make the bass weaker and ruin the stereo separation in the sound a lot unfortunately!
@@elliotrosander2895 The fact is that the distance between the speakers is small enough to talk about a normal stereo base. Then, the sound in the mid- and high-frequency range inside the speaker is absorbed by the soft padding. And low ones can just work well on the radiator plate. This is how a mechanical low-pass filter is obtained.
Good work but the batteries should tighten with cable tie or glue gun to prevent come out from slot when accidentally speaker face any falling issue from any high surface to ground.
Nice build. Configuring a steep high pass filter at just below the box resonance will increase the power handling and therefore amount of bass boost that can be configured.
Excellent work! Just a suggestion: Lining the inside with open cell foam and filling the open space with poly fill really cleans up the sound. Just don't obstruct the port. Great content man.
@@DonnyTerek No problem dude. Keep up the good work. You have some of my favorite DIY audio content. I'd love to see a high end build some day. Try some Scanspeak drivers and you won't be disappointed.
@@millenniumrun9995 Much appreciated. Will definitely be trying a high end build in the near future to replace the Amigas even though they are quite amazing for the price.
Nice video and clean, neat speaker! I've always wondered how every diyers make smooth surface finish of wooden enclosure, and today I solved this question thanks to your video. Also surprised about the solution at 12:55 which despite non-curable mistake in normal situation! Thanks to your video and hope you have a nice day 😁
Really nice! There are inexpensive calibrated measurement mics out there. If you’re intending to set the DSP once, I’d want to see the pink noise response and use it to guide you to a base curve. Then tune to taste.
i love how it looks, but it really nags me knowing the amount of sound diffusion around the corners. it causes hills and valleys in the frequency response. but still, a great build for an MDF speaker
add some rubber bands or some scotch tape around the battery's and the battery holder so when the speaker inevitably falls from the table or something the battery's dont pop off the holder
Oh I can't find my last comment. Small question, Is the dc power connector included in the dayton audio amp board? (when you buy it) to charge the extended batteries
Do I need a KPX programmer for each amp I purchase or can I get one and use it on all of my builds? How well do these amp boards do with heat? Do you know of a way to program the boards Bluetooth name to something custom? Sorry I have emailed Dayton Audio and no one seems to respond to their emails.
No handle for carrying. No protective grill for the speakers. Requires rare 18V powersupply for charge (why not use 5V usb with DC-DC step up). Maybe veneer chip can be fixed with patch?

Thank you! The batteries are held in very tight. You would most likely break the speaker first before the batteries get loose.
Nice build. Configuring a steep high pass filter at just below the box resonance will increase the power handling and therefore amount of bass boost that can be configured.
You forgot to mention how much it would have cost. At least the parts. Well done as usual!
Thank you! You can check the cost of parts in the description.
You don't want to know it, because otherwise you will buy a brand new factory built solution, because of the price/perf.
just for electronics not including the speakers is over 200
Amazing! I love how your builds are simple and show just enough detail
And if you don't have woodworking machines you're DOOMED!!!... 😂
Unless you're aiming for the same result, I have to agree 😄
You can do it bro
Even without some of these machines, a saw and a drill will definitely get you a nice enclosure! They sell kits online with everything you need though
Nice work. Using dedicated programming connector back in the speaker (e.g M12) could make a sense in case you ever need to reconfigure the speaker.
Thank you! That's a great idea!

Thank you so much!
Yes, and even that finish is not the smoothest 😄
Thanks for watching and I'll hope you stay tuned for other projects!
Your work is incredible! I haven't seen anything like it! I would be very happy to win one of these! 😊

Suelo ver tus trabajos y me parece increíble...el detalle y el acabado son muy bueno....éxitos 🙌
Thank you!
Perfect video just a question, there are no crossover between drivers and amp?
Thx for the answer
These are full range speakers, no need for splitting the signal to high frequency and low frequency components.
Do you have any suggestions about a cheap, non amplified DSP for diy speakers?
nice work Sir❤❤, but how you make round corner? im really interesting😊
Perfect handmade
It would be nice looking if you use a torx screw
Can the dsp board be used with any amp ?
Nicely done Donny, any reason you didnt use some more veneer to fix the corner?
Thank you! It would be a quite tedious job to glue a piece that small and probably wouldn't look any better than it is right now.
I think it adds character to the speaker
can you make a simple and cheap speaker
Good job man, I enjoyed it very much👍🏻
Thank you a lot!
youre an artist
Thank you!
i agree
I like your spray can stand.
Thanks! 😄
Do every corner that way and it will look intentional. Like leather on British jacket elbows.
Goodd.... next pilss
A lot wait for your video❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hope it was worth it!

Marhsall who? We need this speaker man, in INR it costs 2x less than Marshall to build this !!

Thank you kindly.

You have to buy the DC connector separately, I have placed the links in the description.

I always thought veneer was pre glued and only heat is needed to fix it to the wood
That would most likely be synthetic veneer, probably PVC that only requires heat to be glued.
As always, a masterpiece!
Thank you!
I have paid and down loaded your plans but you have missed out the drawing for the back panel, can you add it please.
This is a very enjoyable video to watch! Thanks. 😀
Thanks for watching!
Preço final?
After a long time 😊
Нужно было войлоком изнутри проклеить, убирает гул и делает звук приятнее
Perfection
Perfeito
Hi sir good evening
But how was there no line from the two corners meeting around the edges of the speaker box? Tell me im really confused how there wasnt any.
They are still there. It is hard to see with a nice sanding job and partially covered in glue.
There is a line, down at the bottom.
21:12 no layer lines? woah, this is interesting 😅
Wao~Nice Sounds Good !!!
