Joni is a National Treasure and a true Canadian Legend/Icon. She will be performing at the Grammys this year, even after her recent Health issues. It will be the first time I've watched the Grammys in many, many years. Thanks for the video John, it was enjoyable to watch...cheers ✌

I am closer to the age of Joni Mitchell. And...of course opinions are like, well, we know. But *I would say (as a songwriter-musician, though a very old one) EVERY SONG on the Reel Life album is as good as anybody's. I don't like comparisons between or among musicians, but...Joni Mitchell..........well, I would play Reel Life a thousand times....(I talked to you, Shannon and George, in email back in the day, circa 2000 or so)....Waiting For a Star To Fall is a song--Joni never wrote a song that great. As few songwriters have. She's one of the great songwirters, of course. "Waiting For A Star To Fall" is the song of the late 80s that people fell in love to, that PINED for their unrequited love, that fell for THE ONE, this song SPOKE and CONVEYED THAT feeling! (AND...just a question, the conversation with Joni, by any chance was she speaking of Buffy St. Marie?)
