Me too, i wonder if it’s some kind of undiscovered condition or something. Usually I just try wiggling muscles that don’t take much effort to move like my fingers, and focus on that until I can move other muscles and my body realizes I’m not asleep and lets me move again. I’m not sure how any of that brain stuff works, though.
@@coconutmomentyeah nice to know im not the only one who tries to "force" their members awake to answer the hallucination, it's not totally unknown why it happens, your brain is still in sleep mode, releasing serotonin and making you "dream" while awake
Sleep paralysis is a hell of a scary experience, and this captures it well. I will never forget the period of time I had so many episodes. I was terrified to sleep, and it left such a scar that I still fear them coming back.

this series is interesting in a creepy way and vice versa and i absolutely adore it. idk if the creators goinf through something, if they are: itll be ok. were all here for you and we all love you, but if not these animations are amazing. keep it up and keep going we love you ❤❤
this one really hits hard for me around 3 or 4 years ago, i was sent to a mental hospital for aggravated deppression, around 11 i think, was in there for at least 5 weeks it would have been one, but they legit tormented me i remember the beds being made of plastic, pencils and pens made of rubber it was awful, and so the doctor and the bed just brings it all back. im fourteen now, and while i havent really revovered, i think ill be okay
If you can wiggle your toes you can break out of the paralysis. I did this during a particularly bad dream much like what happened in this video. Mine looked a lot like this except smaller with bigger eyes, I remember turning my head, sitting up and punching at its eyes all as fast as I could; and it just evaporated like light shining on a shadow. It was the single most surreal thing I ever experienced. I kinda doubt there will be anything that will top it.
Yet another phenomenal work of art you've created, I love that your drawing has changed in this one for the better to give a more insightful perspective of how sleep paralysis works. This is also nice to go to work to. Keep up the great work!
As someone who suffers from sleep paralysis most nights, this shook me to my core. The audio and visual hallucinations I have are absolutely terrifying and hohohohoh, this, this is a great reflection of that dread you feel along with the almost pixel/sketchy look to the room because of how dark it is
You always make videos that remind me of those classic 2006-10 era youtube horror animations in the absolute best ways: Short, fast paced, scary or dread filled, and well made.
I had sleep paralysis for years up until recently, mine were mainly auditory hallucinations (I don’t remember if I ever say any spooky shadow demons) with loud blaring sounds. It was absolute Hell because I couldn’t move, and had to stay there for what felt like hours listening to ear-rupturing loud noises. I specifically remember one sound being that of a very loud grandfather clock, make of it what you will.
Damn, I don't think I ever had a sleep paralysis, I can clearly tell that I don't ever want to have if it makes me feel what I just felt like watching this video. I should really stop looking at this content at midnight. Also, well done I can't sleep, you managed once again to make me feel true fear.
Great use of music! The horror and suspense dawned on me like a cold sweat splitting my attention between looking at the demon while bracing for impact and remaining time to judge when it might happen. I love it
As someone who has experienced sleep paralysis several times, I can recommend that if you find yourself in a situation like this, try blinking. Blink many times and eventually you will be able to move and you will stop seeing those hallucinations.

I remember when I was between 7-9 years old, I still slept in the same bed with my mother, our bed was next to the door and it was always open, I was afraid of the dark so I insisted my mother to leave the light of the bathroom on. One night, I woke up to the sound of dragging, I was hugging my mother from behind so I didn't have a wide view of the other side of the room, but still, I could see a figure walking and being illuminated by the vague light of the bathroom, right where there is only a minimum of light inside my room, this figure was a bit bluish and transparent (like a ghost), they were constricted, appeared to have difficulty walking, they had things stuck in their backs, like arrows and twigs, I don't remember anything else after that, to this day I don't know if it was a dream or not
