Eric is incredible, he'll make the un popular songs like this one sound like the biggest hits... bring on those dead albums that didn't sell and he'll turn them to gold... he's amazing
Finally they got a motivated young dude that loves Skid Row music. I'd go see them now. Good choice. I hope he stays w the band for a decent amount of time. You know Baz is at home going, " I can sing that much better..." Uh, NO you can't.
I love Baz, but unfortunately his voice is suffering. I don't know if it's because he is in poor shape, or just that this kind of singing requires young pipes, but the reality is, Erik can do what Baz use to be able to do.
Badass deep cut song extremely well done. Erik takes me back to what I couldn't believe my ears were hearing in the 80s & 90s. Made me smile pretty for the wrecking ball.
His voice & command of it is top f’ing notch. Stage presence wise, I think he should use the mic stand more than not. Guys like Steven Tyler virtually never have the mic off the stand…it’s an extension of their performance. It just seems like it fits him better. 👍
Always been a fan of Skid Row but WOW!!!! Erik is absolutely AMAAAAAAAZING!!!! Can't wait to hear what they do with him in the studio. Sebastion who??? LOL!
He is amazing! They have a new album coming out with Erik October 14 - there are already 2 studio songs out on RUclips - The Gangs All Here and Tear it Down
@@santicruz3326 I hear ya and I know what you're saying, but I'm more or less referencing Sebastian Bach as of these days. He can't hold a candle next to Erik presently (age has it's benefits ;-). But yeah - back in the day he was uttery amazing, vocally.
I have always said that skid row is nothing without BAS, however after watching and listening several videos with this new singer I must confess that he does kick ass
Anyone think after Erik is fully healthy, might be another year, or more if he does, that he comes back to Skid Row? Or if they play in his area, he'd come play a show or 2? I know people who have had luckimeia and recovered fully and doing well. He can and will and finish the skid row band before they retire..
I think we might see more and more older bands that hire a younger vocal and get many more fun years on the road. When thinking on it so is it win win for all.
Erik is better at singing Skid Row songs than Bach ever was! Bach, has always been terrible and sloppy live! . This guy NAILS EVERY NOTE WITH EASE! He has a passion for what he's singing. Glad to see this band finally find a frontman that does the songs justice and is reviving their catalog.
@yuthgonwild u must be blind as a bat if u can;t see hes lip syncing here his mouth don;t match the words and the singing started before he even opened his mouth
@@hauge-sol Yes, he actually did. I just watched it before watching this one. Not only did they do it live (rarely), they did it much faster than the studio version, which itself was much faster than the version in this video.
Oh my goodness, what a vocalist
Eric is incredible, he'll make the un popular songs like this one sound like the biggest hits... bring on those dead albums that didn't sell and he'll turn them to gold... he's amazing
Couldn’t agree more - Erik makes me love songs I didn’t before. He’s beyond amazing!
Never was an unpopular song.
@@bschild2546 slave to the grind is/was a great album...all songs in it are....agree with u
@@wfe4567 One of the most underrated of all time. It did not only rock, was lyrically a socially conscious cassette disc etc
Slave to the grind isn‘t really a "dead" album, but a classic. Agreed about Erik, he is awesome (already was in H.E.A.T).
Eric is dope, man. Lots of Bach/Geoff Tate influence there. It's almost like I'm watching/listening to early Queensryche.
Erik is amazing. We follow him since he was with H.E.A.T and it is the best choose Skid Row can make. Congrats!!!🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
afterbach songs now sounds lik real skid row with gronwall
That's not an after Bach song though, it is from the Slave to the Grind album. But I am sure he will make those other songs sound good.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, Erik is the best vocalist in Skid Row since Sebastián. Erik Grönwall is the real deal 🤘🤘
Finally they got a motivated young dude that loves Skid Row music. I'd go see them now. Good choice. I hope he stays w the band for a decent amount of time. You know Baz is at home going, " I can sing that much better..." Uh, NO you can't.
Agree, Sebastian is having a diva fit. Lol
I love Baz, but unfortunately his voice is suffering. I don't know if it's because he is in poor shape, or just that this kind of singing requires young pipes, but the reality is, Erik can do what Baz use to be able to do.
But to whom you compare to ???
bach is not at home hes on tour making money unlike these fake lip syncing losers u can see he is the words don;t even match his mouth
Great quality! Thanks! Erik is on fire! And so is the band!

Great footage, thanks for sharing. Band is once again strutting their stuff... Behold, Rock and Roll!!
My favorite song off Slave ,FKN KILLER!!
Getting better and better. This souns Just fantastic
best song
Holy fuck! He did an amazing job. They sound so fucking good here! One of my favorite songs from ST too!!!!!

Erik seems incredible to me but saying "Sebastián who" seems stupid to me, since the band was known thanks to Bach's voice. Greetings.

well 20 plus years later looks like they found their singer the two new songs are killer also
BRAVO 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏. scream pulled me in wow.

Amazing
This sound so good!
I'm amazed. Who knew. This dude, Eric, pulls it off!

Great band. Good song
Erik,
- Fan mannen, det här är riktigt bra.
( när kommer ni till svedala ? )
nice one
Erik Gronwall was the best vocalist they had after Sebastian
This guy is way better than Sebastian.
Great voice... but ... 👍👍👍😂he has some strange stage moves🤔😂
This dudes talented, but no bach no skid row.
I think we might see more and more older bands that hire a younger vocal and get many more fun years on the road. When thinking on it so is it win win for all.
Wow. Not bad.
Erik is a perfect fit for the band, and really does justice to the music.
How old is this kid?
33, 34 ish
@@oskarw8768 Oskar..Ohh okay ..thanks
Tryna watch the solo... INFURIATING! with this cameraman!!🙆♂️ 2:05
Great vocalist, energetic singing. The band doesn't match the energy though. my opinion.
Please do more hair video's
Great singer, I'm happy for him and Skid Row, unfortunately he's annoying.

Great singer, but his stage presence is just goofy
He’s no goofier than any hair band singer ever was
Pretty good but there are guys on RUclips who can sing this even better.
Unfortunately without Bach these guys are just another bar band

Sebastian Bach he was the whole band now it's sounds like a cover band not impressed at all sorry

close enough.
