People actually charge to do collabs? That seems so trashy. If you collab, wouldn't you do it because you like the artist and the song? Why would you charge the artist for your part. A share of the royalties, yeah. But, like what, are they charging people like 20 or 30K up front for a verse or some shit? If you charging like, then you probably don't really like the artist much, and in that case, why even collab? I guess i just don't understand...

Assuming they're pals I am sure a lot of free features occur, but a lot of the time features are purely business and after the feature is done they go their separate ways

Genuine artistry. Ronnie Radke has been through a lot of shit. He started this band while he was in prison. He came through that, had a daughter, got sober, done so much and he's always had this blazing talent and I just love who he is and I really love watching you feel his art

He wasnt responsible for the death of the kid he got in a fight with. That kid was shot and killed later I believe. He violated pothole and then got caught with drugs and went to prison for that.

6:00 on his old band, Escape the Fate, Ronnie was talking to his mom on the very first part of The Day I Left The Womb, the last track of their debut album. The lyrics "The boys you left are men you didn't raise" gets me everytime.
The part with little girl, realizing its full circle and he’s stuck in this loop of hurt and habit, sent chills and goosebumps all over me.

Oh it's definitely the absolute truth. I know people that are just as successful in London, Germany, Ukraine, Dubai, Israel, Denmark, Singapore, Korea, Japan and so on. So yeah, America is not that special.
That said, I can tell this guy is talking about how the system basically makes fools out of everyone to the point where we can't even own land now... you have to pay taxes for *your* property (meaning, it's not yours).
On top of that, all kinds of nonsense to cater to our vanity and self interest continue being shoved down our throats just for their profit. You could just change your attitude about anything and be happy. Happiness is a choice. You don't need drugs, money, material possessions, etc. for that.

There's 4 songs in this series.. It starts with Losing my Mind.. then Losing My Life.. then Drugs.. then Popular Monster.. and all of them are basically about Ronnie Radke (the vocalist) turning his life around.. that's what I get from it all.. they are all tied together.. all the videos have the same kind of message from what I've seen. All the songs are great!! And the part with the old lady represents Ronnie meeting his mother who abandoned him and his father when he was a child I believe.. from what I read and seen in interviews, he's only met his mom once, and he really doesn't care for her. She was drug addicted.

Drugs has got to be my #1 favorite by him. The amount of raw feelings and pain he exposes in this video is just incredible. None other out there. If you watch it in sequence from losing my mind to losing my life to drugs to popular monster it just tells you his story from start to present. It’s raw and nothing else like it. All this while also genre hopping. The fact he’s not bigger is just mind blowing. I honestly can’t think of any other artist that can transition and blend it perfectly like Ronnie can. To me he is the music king and will always be my #1 favorite artist in existence. The mans music has gotten me through some of the toughest times of my life. If anyone is new to this type of music I highly encourage you to take a gander into his music.
