Including versions by Sinead O'Conner, Bon Jovi, Dolly Parton, Jimi Hendrix, the Animals, Frijid Pink (myFavorite), and Toto (yes that TOTO, famous for the song Africa. You can get a list from google. Toto rocks it btw. Side note the first recorded verion is almost 100 years old but the music used in the song may be centuries old no one knows .
yes then compare it to SRV little wing and Skid Row little wing in a 3 way triple reaction. All versions are good imo. Skid Row has the vocals SRV the guitar and ofc we wouldn't have any covers without Jimi.
I believe the car’s and some of the cast in this video are from the tv show sun city motors or welderup or vegas rat rods they make those cars in it from old scrap vehicles 👌🏻 personal opinion the song I love 5FDP but this is such a iconic song it was just not quite as good as the original that said it’s not a bad song it’s just against a legend👌🏻

If you haven’t seen “Mad Max” 1979 Australian film you should watch as you will get where the costumes refer. Starred a young Mel Gibson before his Hollywood days. A bunch of sequels were made as well. I think was released in US with different title maybe Road Warrior unsure
Not a bad attempt by FFDP, but honestly it doesn't even come CLOSE to how powerful the version from The Animals comes across. The vocals are more impressive, the lack of drums and use of the organ is more interesting, and the solo is more impressive since it isn't filled with so much bass. However, the video for FFDP DOES take the song into a completely new direction as far as the meaning behind the lyrics. Going into a more "brutal reference" over what it is that makes you a victim of the Rising Sun is actually kind of more interesting as it really highlights the "fall into sin" more than you get with other covers of the song. Which is mostly focused on more of a brothel than on the brutality of criminal activity.

BTW, you haven't react my suggestion to react Randy Dongseu, who can sing more than 30 different Languages... check his channel "Randy Dongseu" and second channel is "Dongseu".... in his video World Tour 3, he sing in 27 different languages... include Romanian song. They're a group from the 60s that's kind of interesting to me. Really great group, the singer is really amazing, and some of their songs are pretty iconic and used a lot in movies and things, and covered a lot and you've probably even heard them before, especially this song, but at the same time, I don't feel like they're talked about or remembered all that much, and were overshadowed by a lot of other music from that era. This song "House Of The Rising Sun", "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood", "We Gotta Get Out Of This Place", "I Put A Spell On You" (I think you did the Anjelina Jordan cover of this song, and I don't think it was originally there's either, but there cover is also good), It's My Life" are some good ones.

Best cover FFDP has done imo is their cover of Bad Companys Bad Company 100% kick ass cover. Hit the original first.
