Hi Liesl, This is another beautiful creation of yours. I think both versions are amazing! Some RUclipsrs film whenever they paint in case they want to use their practice painting as a tutorial. But I’m sure that’s probably a lot of bother if you’re not going to use it. 😊 It does look like a very relaxing process, especially with your lovely music in the background! I always enjoy seeing you each week, watching you create such awesome artwork! Part of the fun is guessing what you'll do next; a landscape, seascape, florals etc. 💕😊 Have a joyful day!
Yes, there have been a handful of times I wish I would have recorded the practice piece, but it’s pretty rare! 😅 My practices are usually pretty rough… I just got lucky with this one! lol! I have had a landscape in mind to paint for a while now, but I keep having ideas for flowers to try that sound more fun! Oh well, I guess I just paint what I’m in the mood for! 🥰😁 I hope you have a great day Laina, thank you for everything. ❤️

Hi Liesl. I really don't know how you keep coming with these beauties but I'm glad that you do. I'm a couple of paintings behind with all the gardening work needed at this time of year but this one is on my "to do" list. I do find loose painting a struggle so this ideal practice for me. I love the combination of soft and hard edges and the use of the whole colour palette. Thanks once again. 🥰
Yes, gardening takes a good bit of time once as the weather gets nice! But something about just being outside, putting your hands in the dirt, and planting seeds or plants, even pulling weeds can be very therapeutic don’t you think? A beautiful painting… I needed a birthday card today and painted this composition.. not nearly as pretty but I like it and my friend will appreciate it. She might even ❤️ it!

Hi K, I think Liesl meant this as a free hand painting without an outline. It’s a tutorial to allow ourselves to experiment with creativity and expression, to allow ourselves to learn to go slow and easy as we have fun and see what we can do. 😊💕

AWESOME 😎 BEAUTIFUL In my opinion before starting the project I personally would give the paper a quick watercolor was with a slight turquoise background ❤❤❤❤

I love your art. May I give you a suggestion? With the variety of flowers you used, they would not all have the same types of leaves. Maybe some thick, straightish ones from the ground upward,or some thin ones..similar to thick grass leaves, oval, heart-shaped geranium-type, etc. But, that painting is gorgeous. I have done acrylic painting, but you are really showing off watercolors. Thanks.
Yes, you are right, it might be fun to have the different flower types to have different leaves, this is just how I chose to do it today. 😊 However, you (or anyone) absolutely can paint this any way you would like, I am just the guide to get your imagination going, but you are the artist for your work and can do anything you want. 🥰 Take care!

As beautiful as this painting is, I can’t take the yellow bud attached to the purple. Sorry, I am hoping that somehow you will make it work. I am so sorry , you are the artist I am just learning. I love your flowers and leaves!
No worries! I was just experimenting and playing around with it, but you (or anyone) absolutely can paint a separate stem for that bud.
