Hi 👋🏽 They were working on a first come first serve basis. And because I was there earlier to write a supp, I just went straight there. I’m not sure how the system works now. But some of the people I was in final year with were sharing cause they arrived late.

UCT assigns residences to student. So if you haven't received any email or information about accommodation, try calling them.

no. you either pay for one or NSFAS gives you one (if you qualify for funding).
I was using NSFAS so they gave me one. Not sure if they do if you don't use NSFAS, they'd probably loan you one.
