Love the session, unfortunately I could not catch it live. I find it puzzling to hear how lean his defense team appears to be on the one hand and on the other hand that he has burned through $27M according to the NYT in the first half of the year. That would already be a significant run rate. Not sure how those fees scale but I would love to hear your views.
Love the podcast! I’m sorry I missed it live - work! I listen to all of the Lawfare episodes. Informative, genuinely well considered commentary. Thank you! Judge Cannon’s strange rulings thus far are indicative of her judicial misconduct yet to come. I don’t see her finishing this trial through.

How disappointing for Cannon to make such moves. I had faith that she would value her reputation and proceed judiciously.
History shows her incompetence and possibly coached and therefore compromised. Her appointment was flagged as unqualified as I recall. She wasn't the only Bar unapproved judge by Trump. Unsure if single or double digits.
