Twin carbed A14 Datsun 1200 coupe

Owned 3 of these back in the 90’s. My best one had an A15 engine that was sourced from a forklift. Rebuilt engine with dual Webers, large crow cam, larger intake and exhaust valves on welltite seats (ported/polished), Yella Terra roller rockers, custom push rods, extractors and 1 5/8 exhaust system, electric fuel pump. Great little cars but the 4 speed gearbox was an Achilles heel and went through several of them. Tried on many times to source the 5 speed that were in the Datsun Sunny’s but to no avail unfortunately. Fond memories 😢
