Buyers of these brand new houses would rather focus on growing their business than spend a lot of time and effort--approx 2 years from planning to execution--building a house and managing all the nitty-gritty details. If one has the time to spend to build their own, yes, of course they can save on money. But most buyers of brand new built houses put a premium on their time and they would want to enjoy the property ASAP which is why for them, even if they spend more, they save on time which is more important for them.
A nice house. But I am biased towards the other "ridge house", due to the high ceiling and bigger, more open concept. This one though has an elevator, and sometimes features like this lift can spell all the difference especially considering seniors and little kids.
Ticks all the boxes for me, especially the elevator. Eastern facing house to allow a sunset views from the balconies is fantastic. Spacious but not too big, which is a pet peeve of mine. It will be just me and my wife. Enough space for our offices and accommodations for when we have guests. Very tempted. Will have to do a little more research on Westgrove Heights amenities.
