    Came to your video from the Edie trailer. Scotland was beautiful to see - in person and in cinema. Glad you got to experience it!

      It is definitely worth the trip, but to catch the weather is the difficult one - we were lucky. Enjoyed the film but thought the end was not great. hey but that is just us - take care Dave & Barbara

    💜 I’ve now climbed 37 Munro’s in Scotland,This is my fav hill even though it doesn’t have the status and is only a Corbett, but was my first summit camp and spent sunset and sunrise in awe ,had the hill to ourselves all night I will be back 🥾🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

      It's not tall enough to be a Corbett, Mandy, but it is quite superb.

      Hi Bruce - it one of the tunes that RUclips provide that has no copyright. I can't remember the exact song, but is you have a look
      at www://youtube/audiolibrary you will find a load of songs and the tune was written by Dan Lebowitz. Hopefully you will find it from there. If not I will did it out for you when I am next on the laptop.
      Let us know if you cant find it
      Cheers
      Dave & Barbara

    So who built the wall? When I climbed it in the 60s the wall did not have a gap. It had a hole!

    • @hikingwithdaveandbarbara8629
      @hikingwithdaveandbarbara8629  2 года назад

      Hi par576 - I have no idea why the wall is there - if you find out then let us know. We absolutely loved Suilven, but I think you need good weather to appreciate its true magnificence - many people climbing it in the 60s by the way ?
      Anyway Cheers Dave & Barbara

      @@hikingwithdaveandbarbara8629 We saw nobody else. We walked in from the A837 as walkers were not encouraged to go what is now the main route.

      @@hikingwithdaveandbarbara8629 Thanks for that. Who now would have thought it? But for what other reason would they have built it up there?
