Thank you I love you. I had no idea how to use it
Gracias!
Thank you from Russia! 👍🏻 very useful guide! (i'm a man so..😀)
Me gustó mucho tu video, gracias, pero tengo una pregunta cuanto tiempo tiene que durar aplicado el producto en la cara?

How to use La Roche Posay Effaclar Purifying Foaming Gel Cleanser

Hi Melissa. I purchased the Effaclar cleansing gel. I bathe my face and hands so that they are completely wet and not damp, but I'm afraid that I'll dilute the cleansing gel too much. I would like to point out that I do not add additional water. I simply wash my face and hands thoroughly, like you do in the video (the water drips from my face and hands) It's correct?
Can you work it into a proper lather? If so, then that's correct. You just need to make sure that you can foam it up properly and then wash your face, as demonstrated in my video :)
@@MelissaVanDijkTheSkinDiet yes, it makes foam. Is it okay to emulsify for about 15 seconds? or is it too much and I risk diluting the gel too much?
@@claudiatamburrini3712 Well, you have to see what works and feels comfortable on the skin, but I usually rub it just until it starts to foam, and then I massage my face for 15-30 seconds.
They have another one right the la roche posay effaclar acne foaming gel cleanser is that good also?
Yes
I have the same oneeee ❤❤❤
Is it good for pores, blackheads and pimples?
Well, yes, if you have oily skin, it can help reduce it, and it gently exfoliates, so technically it can show some good improvements over time! Just make sure that you don't overuse it, so it may be best to alternate use with another gentle foaming cleanser. For example, one of these: ruclips.net/user/shortsqMd1tWxPWLM

❤Hello, I have а 1)"Effaclar gel purificante micro-exfoliante" , 2)effaclar duo+ and 3)blemish gel. after washing my face with micro-exfoliante and using duo+, should I use blemish immediately? Or how much time do I have to wait? I cleanse my skin with a cleansing gel in the morning and in the evening, and I use cream-gel duo+ in the morning and in the evening, and what about blemish?
Please can you answer this question 😪
Hm... if so, you would use the blemish gel after cleansing but before applying Effaclar DUO+. However, your skin tolerance, frequency of use, and whether you use the blemish gel with Effaclar DUO+ matters a lot too.
I wouldn't use so many exfoliating acid products in the same routine as this can sooner or later lead to sensitivities/irritations. I would use a non-exfoliating acid foaming cleanser when using the blemish gel.
Like:
AM:
Effaclar Micro-Peeling Cleanser
Effaclar DUO+
Sunscreen (if exposed to the sun)
PM:
Non-Exfoliating Acid Foaming Cleanser
Blemish Gel
(maybe) lightweight non-exfoliating acid moisturizer.
i think this cleanser could be harsh (since it has sles after aqua )if your routine contains aha-bha or tretinoins.
Not really, it is still very gentle. I would consider the fragrance to be more of an issue, especially if you're sensitive. The cleanser may pose a problem for dry skin, but that's not its intended purpose.
Can I use it as a body wash ?
Yes! :)
Thanks 😅
This face wash is best for acne or not ????
It's a good face wash if you have really oily skin. However, to treat your acne, look into a Salicylic Acid or Benzoyl Peroxide Cleanser.
this dried up my skin pretty bad but only on the third week of using it. the first 2 weeks it felt great. but i’m not going to lie on the day of the third week i was massaging it on my face pretty roughly. do you think that was the reason why it dried up my face? it really only dried up my chin area and left it feeling tight and red. should i lay off it for a few days or completely change the cleanser? like i said it was working fine until i used it aggressively on my face
Hey! 😊
What else do you use? Well, the longer you wash your face, especially focusing on a specific area, the drier it may become. This cleanser is quite drying, but it's excellent if you have really oily skin. You could try washing your face for a shorter period of time and more evenly, or consider switching to a hydrating foaming cleanser. Alternatively, you could alternate between the two.
@@MelissaVanDijkTheSkinDiet if i kept using the la roche posay effaclar purifying cleansing gel and start following that with cetaphil’s mattifying acne moisturizer will that be too drying for the skin??
i also just got the la roche posay hydrating gel cleanser today and it broke me out. this is the second hydrating cleanser that has broke me out. i used cerave’s hydrating facial cleanser as my first cleanser ever a while back and it broke me out. i’ve never had any acne in my life before i started cleansing my face. i really just started a skin care routine for as a form of self care. sometimes i feel like the effaclar purifying gel cleanser is too drying for my skin. but it’s it’s honestly been helping with my acne when i pair it with the cetaphil acne moisturizer. it just makes my face feel a little tight. i’ve just been spending so much money trying to figure which one is the right one for me. should i check out their purifying foaming cleanser? what is the difference between the la roche posay purifying foaming cleanser and the effaclar purifying gel cleanser?
@@ogluda8492 If you do not have dry skin, you do not need to use a 'hydrating cleanser for dry skin', which are usually non-foaming cleansers. I've encountered the same issue in the past; that's why I mainly recommend foaming cleansers, as I believe they clean the face most effectively. Of course, not every foaming cleanser is drying - the formulation matters a lot. However, the ones from LRP are typically more drying. But if it only leaves your skin feeling a bit tight and nothing else, you should not worry. Usually, the skin bounces back within half an hour. If your skin responds well to Cetaphil's Acne Moisturizer, keep using it. Personally, I usually just use a hydrating serum, such as Vichy's Mineral 89, and that's it for hydration. Are you referring to LRP Effaclar in the dark blue bottle and the one in the green bottle? If so, the one in the green bottle contains Salicylic Acid, which exfoliates the skin and should reduce inflammation.
Is it suitable for combination skin?
normal to oily yes
Bien dicen que existe mucho mas contenido web in english than espanish, thanks a los !!
I have oily skin ,so I am using effaclar face cleanser gel with effaclare lotion followed by a Nivea moisturiser am I doing it correct
Hey! 😊
The order of application looks good; however, what Nivea Moisturizer are you using, and how's the routine working for you so far?
Can I use paula's choice exfoliant after this cleanser?
Yes.
I use a face cloth to rinse. Can you say why it's necessary to rinse with water after using the cloth. I've seen several of your videos and I don't remember you doing this extra rinse. Thanks 😊
Well, it also works without doing the extra step, but it depends on how well you removed the cleanser. And since I noticed that many people still had residue on the skin surface, I decided to rinse again to ensure everything was properly washed off. 🙂

Makes sense
How soon can I see the effect?
Hey! :)
What are your skin concerns?
Is it also suitable for combo skin? + sensitive in some areas.. Im a teen btw soo ye..
Well, it depends on your personal skin sensitivities, but overall, if you have normal to oily combination skin, it should work.
Does it contain salicylic acid?
No, use the Micropeeling Gel Cleanser.
Why does mine smell so disgusting? Weird flower smell. Not good :((( is this normal?
Well, it does contain fragrance, but it's not a flowery one. Instead, it has the typical French scent. If it smells unpleasant to you, there could be two possibilities: either you have a bad product, or you simply can't tolerate the smell, which is understandable as scent preferences vary from person to person.
does is sais micro pilling ???
No, it's a foaming cleanser for oily skin :)
@@MelissaVanDijkTheSkinDiet ah i was just trying the one for acne gel wiht piling
would like to hear what you can say about it maybe
cause it’s just so painful could be reaction or it should be like this
@@peterhvanI actually liked it a lot, but over time, I reacted to one of the ingredients, which caused me to cough all the time. Therefore, I now avoid it.
In what sense is it too painful for you? Have you ever tried a Salicylic Acid product before or something that contains Menthol?
It's a clencer ❤
🤔
lol i got chemical burnt from it
Did you just use that one or something else as well?
