Well its "stefans story" because there are 171 episodes in total and when the show ended stefan was 171 years old also he is the only vampire who writes in the start of the series and sorta the only one throught the series.

How can you not appreciate Steroline at all . The fact that she made Stefan smile was wonderful . And their relationship was the purest in the whole show. When I watched Delena , sometimes I was ashamed to look at their toxicity . Stefan and Caroline have always had mutual understanding and love, the fact that their couple was hated so much was the strangest event of the vampire diaries. I can only explain to fans of a young age dont like to look at a cute and real relationship

Their Cangel ship was one of my favorites, so Steroline felt like a direct copy. Like it didn't stand out. HOWEVER, I have managed to separate the two in my mind and I really do love the ship. They were full of light that was needed in season 6-8 for me. Stefan and Caroline have a very mature relationship and love, that I feel like most fans at a young age can't fully appreciate because they are still growing. Learning. Steroline will age better with time.

He may not be all good and a saint and stuff because he has made some wrong and sometimes selfish decisions.

Is it just me or anyone else felt like, "Stefan is the main character in TVD, ofc some parts focused on Elena so is Damon, rest r supporting characters as u can say but since the beginning of the show its about Stefan, I mean like literally till the end.
Many got disappointed since he died but honestly I feel like thats more heartbreaking n good way to end the series, Damon dying doesnt mak sense at all, he is evil...
Anyways the series was good pretty good, but "The Originals" was way better.
