    I designed a front bash bar with a tow hook and intercooler that you can 3d print for the rx7 if you're interested. The files are on cults3d. I have plans to make other cosmetic mods and some other parts in the future.

      Thank you, that would be great, but I have not got in to 3D Printing yet. I am hoping to after the new year! I would appreciate information on a printer!

      @walthersonr.c.3360 personally I have an ender 3 but I plan to upgrade after the new year. From what I see you can't go wrong with a bamboo labs printer. Which one you get depends on what you want to spend and how large of prints you plan to do.

    Big tip, trim a single coil off the front of the shocks. Itll handle alot better. Also after you put in a Aftermarket gyro, if you havent already, slap in a surpass 9g steering servo. Its plug n play and is a ton smoother.

      Hello I sorry I just responding, the material is too brittle to try to cut the springs because it’s 3-D print

    Idk where you could get more pins to mount the shocks but those shocks look about the same length as the ones for the wltoys k989 1/28 rally/ drift car. They also offer those in aluminum oil filled. However the shocks for the k989 look thinker from your video so that might be an issue with steering angle

      @@bighextacy hello and thank you for the comment and for viewing the channel. The WLtoys k989,k969, k979 ,k999 shocks are a little short, but with a little modification, they can work, the oilfield shocks actually leak. I installed the set on my NSX. I had to make a rear bracket for the top rear to mount them. For the price, the LDRC shocks actually fit better.!

    I have seen a removal method for the top pins that doesn't cause any damage, unfortunately at the moment I can't remember which channel it was on. If I can find it I'll send a link

      @@terryturner5360 Thank you, I have already obtained hardened ball ends . It’s just since the 80s companies are using cheaper and cheaper materials and it’s all about them saving a book to make a lot more but thank you sir! Thank you for watching my video and commenting please keep helping the small channels like mine!

    Can you show how to change the wheels. Im having trouble swapping out the front. It feels like its stuck on & ill break it trying to take it off. I managed to slide the rear wheels off just fine. Can you show how its done with out brute force almost breaking it. Please. Thanks.

      Hello and thank you for viewing, unfortunately if your vehicle has the plastic hubs in the front, they are hard to remove , you can try to sanding lightly with a 1000 grit sandpaper on each side, or upgrading to the metal hubs they are about 3 / 4 dollars on AliExpress

      @@walthersonr.c.3360 I finally managed to change them out. By taking off the body and the suspension arm links and leaving the bottom ball joint on to remove the wheels. Yeah they are plastic hex. Thanks. Could do with a metal upgrade.

      @@walthersonr.c.3360 do you know the exact size of the hex hubs? I could do with upgrading them to metal like the back.

    How do you remove the suspension pens?

    • @walthersonr.c.3360
      @walthersonr.c.3360  7 месяцев назад +1

      The front pins need to be pushed out from the front of the vehicle to the rear very carefully, the rear pins need to be pushed out from the rear of the car to the front very carefully while holding the mounts! as you start pushing them out, you will notice the pen has a textured in on it!

      @@walthersonr.c.3360 Hi, thanks for the reply. What tool do I use to remove the pins? If possible would you be able to make a video on how to remove the pens and install the shocks?

    • @walthersonr.c.3360
      @walthersonr.c.3360  7 месяцев назад +1

      You are going to need a small punch or something to push it out enough to grab the rear with pliers!

      Hello, I love the Rx7 , AE86 and the one I had to modify, the gray one, they all run and work very well and it seems like the newer the model the better it is, the passenger right rear suspension on all of the kits is a little goofy Meaning, you’re gonna have to play around and adjust it to get it to work properly but for the amount that they’re charging, you can’t beat it. thank you for viewing my channel and I will try to air a few more videos soon.!
