The last delivery should have been in Finland so it could have been a true Finnish Line
I see what you did there😂😂
Oh my God, you didn't...
Why is it funny it shouldnt be funny 😭
BooOOOoooOOOooo
Being due to miss your connection because the train you're currently in is delayed, but then making the connection anyways because the other train is delayed as well is a very Deutsche Bahn moment.
Yep absolutely
It is also very SNCF like tbh xD
The only thing left literally ist to go to the station early for an earlier but delayed train.
Pro-tip for when your Deutsche Bahn train is delayed, and you'd miss your connection: Go find a ticket conductor, tell them about it and ask for help politely. If you've got a ticket with Zugbindung (ticket is only valid on the trains mentioned on the ticket), they will upgrade your ticket to one that is valid on all trains, that go towards your target. If the other train is also operated by Deutsche Bahn, they might also ask the other train's team to wait for you. At stations with a DB service center, they will also remove the Zugbindung, if you've missed your connection through no fault of your own.
@@scifino1 Yeah, it's important to know your rights as a customer of DB. They will even pay for a hotel if a delay gets you stuck somewhere in the middle of the night.
Is it just me or are Team Zac absolutely rubbish at reading addresses
I mean they've misread two addresses so yes
TERRIBLE! Reading correct adresses is their Nemesis it seems. Saved bei Ahmed 😅
Seems like Zac just enters a number and street then expects his phone to magically know what city or village he means???
More like rubbish at using Google Maps
It's insane to me that they are surprised by the fact that street names may exist multiple times in different towns.
10:59
Damn, the taxi driver, Ahmed, was it? (I know there are many spelling variations)
He really did went full inspirational on the team XD
Such a chill and optimistic dude!

You don’t even have to go to the ticket conductor. If your train is delayed and because of that you miss a connection in between you can take ANY train that goes to your destination. I travel a lot in German via train, and I actually love it, when I miss my connection (it has to be the fault of the DB, and you have to have ONE Ticket for the entire trip), because it often means, I can get on a quicker train.
So sometimes I buy a train ticket (over Frankfurt to Berlin) for less than 20€ with 3+ stops and mostly I don’t get my connection in Frankfurt (I buy with less than 10min switching time) and than I’m able to jump in ANY train that goes in the direction of Berlin, per example the sprinter, that doesn’t have any more stop, goes much faster and would actually cost much more… just work with the system and it usually works out.
I’m still calling it that Ben may snatch the win by getting all the points on the way back.
Also, not team Zack with another ghost order again DX
Come on Team Ben!!!
Ahmed is truly the best member of Team Zac
Ahmed from RAE vs Keaundra from S4 of JL
*Who Wins?*
As a huge Jet Lag fan, this series is awesome! You’ve got to find a way to do a second season
I don't know why, but I just like Team Ben. Best vibes
Less panic, more calm, more deliberation, less sloppy -- my kind of team :)
Same
I'm team Ben, but not sending the message immediately is kind of cheating a bit.
@@peterfireflylund they are so chill, I love that.
Fun thing is, I also like Team Ben most in Jet Lag, for the exact same reasons 😅
I'm surprised that both teams have taken taxis from Schiphol as it has amazing connections to both The Hague and Breda, probably even faster then by car
It's the same in Copenhagen, pretty good train connections. I think not knowing a place and figuring things out about public transport takes time and they probably just wanted to get it done ASAP
To this day, Ben's location is still unknown
Team Ben's secret plan was to make everyone else as confused as themselves as to where they were going.
At 21:51 that's actually one of the headquarters of Deutsche Bahn (German Railways). You could've complained about your delayed trains there. I also really love how you're in my small German home town 700 meters away from my house over night and I absolutely didn't notice.
Filing an official complaint would definitely have resulted in... something. Yes, something for sure! 😁

In Frankfurt, you should always go to Frankfurt Airport. Better connections to everywhere, „Sprinter-ICEs“ to the Cologne/Dusseldorf/Bonn-area for example. If anyone was thinking about ever doing such a challenge again - like Team Ben, haha.
Intercity direct Schiphol to Breda in 50 minuets costs 14 euros ....
Nah lets take 214 pound cab!
Breaks my heart
The second ghost from team blue was funny. I expected that they found out about their first mistake, but no
I'm really liking this series guys! The passport incident last episode had me stressed for real! 😂😅
So how were you guys delivering the final order? Like, did the three teams have different parts of the order each, or is it all the same order but you would just give it to the person 3 times?
Only the first team to arrive really make the delivery, the others just showed up for fun haha - Jack
16:01 Is that a freaking headless monster casually walking?
You made me laugh loudly ^_^
That's what I was thinking as well lol
That or a robot
Relax. It's just a Vortigaunt 🤣
I’ve watched it 3 times and I’m still not sure what I’m seeing!?!
Seeing them walk along Mainz south station (now called Roman theather) with the next delivery in Bonn (which is less than a 90 minutes direct train drive from Mainz Hbf) and then seeing them back in Frankfurt 40 kms in the wrong direction is mind boggeling...
As a PS: I also can't figure why they didn't take the Ulm one on the way. There are direct trains from Ulm to Mainz via Stuttgart, and the route is only slightly slower than the route via Nuremberg...
It seems that your biggest hurdle in this game was not knowing enough about the German rail system...
Why via Nuremberg? The normal route from Munich via Stuttgart, Mannheim, Frankfurt, Mainz, Bonn to Amsterdam would have brought 16 points.
Shoutout to the Zac team driver for being so cool lol
These have been a lot of fun! Thanks for making them and I hope to see more in the future!
I love this series so much. Perhaps season two, when and if that happens, ought to be across other regions/countries with high TLDR viewership
Just watched the finale on nebula…. NO SPOILERS BUT IT WAS HILARIOUS!!! literally all of you are so competitive it’s hilarious! I’m gonna miss watching my favourite RUclipsrs running around Europe🥹 Would love to see more fun content outside of politics from you guys, everyone included! You guys are such a funny bunch, it would be great to see more of everyone’s individual personalities!😊
Came here from nebula after watching the last episode. Because there are no comments on nebula, and I dont use Twitter, I wanted to say congrats to you all for an awesome series on top of all the work you do for us viewers.
After that stressful ride, you should still come to the US and do the same challenge 🎉 I live in Atlanta and would go with you to the Coca Cola factory.
Watched the final episode on nebula today and already miss the series. Well done guys! Hope you reopen your store and do a second season
Jan has completely stolen my heart.
OMG same! Such a delight!
entertaining series! as I commented on an earlier episode: maybe think about adding a carbon budget next time to give it a really contemporary edge. Time Vs Money Vs C02?
Can we talk about the hilarious thumbnails for this series? They are OTT in a super fun and silly way. LOVE THEM, and this entire series.
Team be looks like giving up but literally have the best chance of winning... Ahh I can't take the stress. Gimme that last episode!
This series gives me so much anxiety I can't watch whole episodes at a time xD
Really loving this series, shame that it doesnt get more views.
Seeing you walking through my hometown Mainz is surreal
I honestly would not be surprised if this ends in a 3 way tie.
Awesome content!
When you say "this season", Jack, does this mean you will do this again soon? Really enjoying the episodes. Hoping you will indeed do this again. Maybe with a slightly longer timer than 30 hours? Although I can imagine that may put a bit of a strain on the budget.
Keep up the good work, regardless!
I would love to be in the Slack chat as these videos release; I'm sure the banter is incredible
Love the series, so fun
i love how they use namaste as a thankyou lmao
I don't really get why the red team didn't go through Ulm to score those easy two points. Ulm is literally on one of the two high-speed lines from Munich to Frankfurt
Best show on the internet rn
Have Ben’s team completely forgotten about the concept of flying or what? They have wasted so much time on trains
No really. Flying is often not faster, since you have to arrive at the airport about an hour before the flight and flights don't leave as often as trains. So while a train from Munich to Frankfurt takes 3,5 hours and a flight 1 (+1) hour if you are in Munich at 10, want to get to Frankfurt asap and the only flight is leaving at 14, taking the train leaving at 10:30 is the faster option.
Following their delivery in munich, they spend most of the day travelling to lower value points. Had they spent that time on going to a far location, with high value points (like Austria) they could have tried to just fly back to Netherlands. I just feel them spending so much time in trains did not gain them as much they would have liked
While German trains are almost as bad as British trains for delays and cancellations, I think they made the right choice. While the flight may be quicker, the extra time needed at the airport plus the travel time from the airport to the city at best will cancel it out. Then there's the added benefits of not having to deal with security and getting comfy table seats.
@@merseyviking probably but this way they will not be able to get as many points as they want I feel. Going for a fiver and then flying back will rsult in the same time but more points.
I feel insulted that you felt like taking a taxi from Schiphol to the Hague/Breda. You can literally get there faster by train
You should do something similar, but only with trains, via interrail!
Is there a discussion on Nebula of episode 5. Can't find it. The daily briefing seems to end without one.
It wasn't a rule to post delivery notifications immediately upon delivery? 🤨
Four episodes in and it's only been a day? Wow!
Editor wasted a great oppurtunity here haha 24:12
Team Zac need a lesson in Google Maps/reading addresses!
Not them copying the same thumbnails as Jet Lag: The Game channel lmaoooo 💀
My home would've made a good addition, diversifying the strategy within the Netherlands a bit. And I suspected that would be the case. I just didn't want to order a notebook that I wouldn't use 😅
Will there be any money left to win, at this rate?
Nice job… 👍👍👍
i dont think i entirely understood. teams are allowed to make further orders after one team delivered the 1000th one?
Yes, teams are allowed to make further orders after one of them had delivered the 1000th, just not the team that delivered it. I think that's one if the major gambles in this game - you deliver the final order first and get 5 points, but you're not allowed to chase any further points. While other teams can make their plays to make up for not beating them for the final delivery.
@@fatim0nsteryes, but I believe that if any team doesn’t reach the final destination before the time limit then they loose all points.
@@gregweatherup9596you are right, however this doesn't contradict the above. They are allowed to make the deliveries, unless they've delivered the final order. And what you mentioned is another clever element of the game - they can still chase other deliveries, but they lose their points if they come last. I believe the second team to make it to the finish line gets 3 points as well.
It was on the screen: 5 points for first team at final delivery, 3 points for the second, and 1 point for the third and last team. You just have to make sure to be there before the deadline, and you cannot make additional deliveries after the final point.
should've gave the taxi driver an job; would make an much pleasant welcome on tdl podcasts
Next time please remember, a lot of time wasted in trips, go to a high density area even if allnare just 1. Do a lot of low point deliveries and not few high score ones
What does annoy me is that you guys got a taxi from Mainz to Frankfurt, when it takes longer by car to do said journey!!
why is the german deutschbahn not improving services. the trains are always late, i find. i have lost crucial connections before
This is gonna end in a three way tie isnt it?
Zak team got the wrong address TWICE?😅
I was very confused, because I didn't understand that zac and ben are different people
Never think the deutsche bahn is punctual
You got Deutsche Bahn’d
Why did not team take a car? Was it mandatory to take public transport?
They've taken taxis multiple times. Their limiting factor is budget - every team had only 3000€ to spend for the entire game.
Teams weren't allowed to rent cars, and just from a timing/budget perspective I don't know if it'd have been a great play anyway, especially as rental companies charge you big fees if you don't drop it back at the same location. For fairness though, some teams had more/less people comfortable driving in Europe so we decided to ban it entirely - Jack
@@TLDRnewsEU Thanks Jack! Much appreciated! I can imagine some teams are skeptical about driving on German Autobahns ;-)
Hearing foreigners prenounce Dutch city names wil never not be funny.
Can't believe that the 10,000th order was in my city 🫣 So cool to see all the teams head to Leiden, hope you guys enjoyed it!
Wait where are Sam Ben and Adam?
DB trains are always late. It's not like Germans are know for reliability, that's actually the Austrians and the Swiss 🙂

Blue team is a huge flop. Guy keeps messing up addresses
Do you think TLDR will visit Asia?
It’s a European channel and covers stuff in the eu so how will they
Nice
Anyone got any video/series suggestions that’s
like this and jet lag
How about some coverage on France?
I enjoy the show, but Am I the only who's shocked that TLDR can't figure out the correct location of address TWICE? :) It's not like google maps is so hard to use...
Team ben are going to win this
LET'S GOOO
Is Ben available?
Ben never go to a Subway in the US they are miserably awful and havent been the same since the mid 2000's. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Great idea but these videos are just too long and there are too many small details you focus on. Maybe cut out some boring parts and focus more on the interesting parts.

Can you please put these kinda videos on a seperate chanel? Didnt subscribe for this and they clutter up the sub-feed.

I personally like it, but I get it's not everyone's cup of tea. There's one more episode left and I think it's coming out some time next week
@@Saad-A16 So it's almost over. ty
Couldn't this stuff be moved to another channel?
It's just a one of special series, it's not worth opening up a whole channel just for that.
Stop complaining.
“How do we use our growing channel to upload videos of our faces no one will want to watch”
Just stick to the news, this is very boring
Is this show just people walking around airports and train stations and talking nonsense? There's zero action or scenery of anything worth seeing. Delivering mail is not the most exciting content ever.
If you don't care, then yes.
If you care, it's about fermenting an interesting route around random points of Europe with the limitation of public transportation not being designed for such randomness.
If its not your thing, then that's fair, but it's a pretty popular type of game now.
24:43 can they do that?
I also thought that it was a weird move...
The rules didn't specifically ban it. We didn't really expect anyone to try, because the rules do state that the first team to declare a delivery get the points, not necessarily the first to make the delivery. So the risk of not announcing a delivery is that another team could still beat you & get the points. However, Ben's team were (correctly) confident that that wouldn't happen, and as such were willing to delay the announcement. If we did it again (we won't) we'd change the rules to ban that kind of play, but we just didn't expect it - Jack
@@TLDRnewsEU thanks for the explanation
