SQUIRREL FLOWER - NEW NOW

Squirrel Flower is the rock music project of Ella Williams. Ella was leading a traveling orchestra out of the woods when I met her last year. I soon joined the roaming band playing grass reed. We became friends. I was very honored to have Ella come and play music on the front lawn of my new apartment on a perfect late summer evening. Ella's new project Tomorrow's Fire is out on October 13th on Polyvinyl. The new record is full of pop hits mangled with distortion. Just as in earlier records, there is a pastoral beauty to the songs but now their edges are undeniable.
