Every visit I have ever made to Arlington has made an impact on me. As a child in the 1950's or an adult in my 70's, this place of honor is very special.

Snow or rain, the guards keep watching and do they duties.
My father, a veteran of World War II in Korea is laid to rest there along with my mother. Rest in peace.

Le guerre le scatenano dei vecchi che si odiano ma essendo vigliacchi mandano dei ragazzi a morire al loro posto. Un pensiero a tutti i ragazzi morti ed alla vita che è fuggita in un attimo.
Man.....I'd hate to have to strip and clean the rifle and get uniform dry after, for next watch rotation inspection on rainy or snowy days lol. I don't know how many they have on 24hr rotation, but I imagine they each do 2-3 watches minimum.
One have to aske then one do not understand. but standing guard is that a military person that is doing that or a civilian. sorry for asking i am from Norway.
