Beautiful. I looked at a lot of other tutorials for this song but I do believe that yours is numero uno. Looking forward to learning it. Thank you. I'm (so) Yours ;)
Thanks alot!!! I have been looking for tutorials about fingerstyle practices because I am a true beginner and a new fan of the instrument. Helps a lotttttt. Thank you
Thanks, I'm glad you like my tutorials! I have a video on my channel, in which I give tips for fingerstyle beginners, maybe you're interested in that too: ruclips.net/video/mVCVrg4FOMU/видео.html :)
this a great arrangement but i think a tab would make my life easier, cuz i just screen cut all parts of this and im so messed up with these screen cuts thats too messy smh
You're honestly the best teacher out- too many teachers on RUclips only teach portion of songs, or will show tabs but not explain strumming or picking, you start from the beginning to end explaining every step of the way Do you teach any flamenco or spanish songs ? My fav ukulele music is spanish and even rockabilly lol
Consejo.
This is extremely difficult to follow you should break down each section of the verse so we know how it’s supposed to sound. It’s extremely hard to follow along or know what part of the song it is when you’re just naming fingers/numbers without a recap of what it’s supposed to sound like
Sehr schön. Danke.
I love using your tutorial videos! However after you’ve gone through a section, the strumming pattern parts are the only ones that are correctly rhythmic. Then I have to keep going back to try and listen to you play the section to get correct rhythms but having only being able to listen to it at tempo. I would love if after breaking down each section you played it slowly but with all correct rhythms. ❤️ I think maybe you do do this is some of your more recent videos? I’ve recently picked up my ukulele again and I’m only just starting with trying to learn this song. So maybe it won’t be an issue in newer videos...? Anyway thanks for all the great content!
Again, wonderful!!! Thanks for posting this tutorial. It's so exciting to be learning it. Have you ever considered doing Mraz's Galazy(Live)? I've no doubt that many people would appreciate your take on it.
hi, do you have an alternative for the part where u need to place ur finger on the 7th fret of A and the 2nd fret of G (5:11)? I've been struggling to get that part right since I have short fingers
Im a beginner but i finished this 2 days cause i keep practicing and if theres one note wrong i would continue it and practice it over and over again 😁thanks for this i just started learning tabs too the only thing you need to learn this is memory and practice😁
Thank you so much for this amazing tutorial!! For posting tabs and explaining everything so simply- any way you could do a tutorial on feeling good by Nina Simone🙏❤️
Exactly. In the very beginning I explain how to read tabs and you can see that on the tab sheet the line on the top is the string on the bottom of your ukulele. So it's all the other way round. That's why you have to strum down even though there's an upward arrow.
I like your tutorial & arrangement, but I don't think your tabs match what you're playing. At 2:33 there should be a 2 on the C string to complete the G chord. It's the same problem throughout and is very confusing.
Thank you for the great tutorial. I think you deserve more recognition for this. By the way, can you give some instruction on your strumming? It seems like you "finger" your strumming as well?
Glad you like it :) I'm note quite sure what you mean. I explain the strumming at 1:52 :) And that's actually the strumming pattern I'm using throughout the whole arrangement. I usually use my nails to strum down and only my finger to strum up :D
this would be better if you played the whole song in the end while the guide is flashed on the screen so that it will be easy for us to progress once our hands start to familiarize the chords/ tabs
Hi, the tabs show you which strings to pick. So I grab the G chord, but I might not play the whole G chord but only these two strings shown in the tabs...
@@awiealissa oh i thought that's what it might be but it looked like you plucked all the strings - guess not- thanks so much for the quick reply, and great content😊🤗
At 1:05 when you say "if there are two numbers or more..." I literally can't find anyone who breaks this down. If you look at all the "how to read tab" ukulele vids, they all focus on the simple single note plucks or chords. Nobody ever clearly states "when there are two numbers or more...". Can you elaborate on this in this comment? Do you PLUCK 2+ notes at the EXACT SAME TIME? Or do you STRUM only those 2+ notes? Please help.
It depends. If there's an arrow next to it, like in the intro, you will strum it. If not you will pluck them. And yes, the 2+ notes at the exact same time.
hello im a beginner and im confused on how do you make that sound when you stum down please help me thanks BTW: love how you make tutorials and covers of the songs
