I was so proud of Givani Smith for that Ekblad scrap. The story around the Wings/CBJ dust up makes it even better too. The Gudbranson-Kassian fight was 😙👌🏻

Yup! It's a shortened season (only 56 games this year) and each teams played around 15 games, so there will be plenty more!

Believe it or not there’s usually a good reason for a fight lol (refs miss a call, someone took a cheap shot, etc)

it'd be tough for you to watch most live games on the weeknights over here since they'd be starting around midnight UK time, but there's always afternoon games on the weekends as early as maybe 6pm for you. bilasport and 720streams are good places to stream from free.
8:24 this is the first time I’ve ever actually seen strategic blocking in a hockey fight. Idk how i feel. Affective?
Wayne Simmonds does it quite a bit. you can actually see it in his scrap around the 4:50 mark. I don't hate it personally, you're giving up a free hand and that can go badly pretty quick in a hockey fight.

Hockey players use to be a lot tougher I remember going to games WHA there was blood all around the ice rink no helmets they very rarely broke up fights world hockey association those where the days 👍

They pipe in crowd noises in a lot of broadcasts. I find it annoying since we all know it's empty stands. I mean yeah, there's people in the building obviously but not enough to achieve the roar you here in some of the fights in a building that big.

Some of them aren't great, but I think things are starting to heat up.
No such thing as a "good fight" in the NHL anymore, they're all.hugging fests with the occasional punch here or there that usually do no harm

@@johnbrowne3950 There’s nothing stopping them from taking off their helmets before fighting except fear.
@@aaronrogers8846 If you take off your helmet in a fight it's an extra two minutes plus five for fighting.
