I’m visiting this page as I have recently just explored my family tree on ancestry to discover my Great Grandmother Lady Alice Skerret aka Glanville married sir Francis Godolphin who was Governor of lsle of Scilly … as a working class women I was absolutely shocked to realise the Isle of Scilly is in England as it’s absolutely beautiful x I hope one day I get to visit and see this British treasure in person x
Yes, I can believe it's England. Why do people act like England doesn't have beauty spots? The country is crammed full of them if you actually go outside and look for them... I live in North Yorkshire, a county full of beautiful green rolling hills and two national parks.
