    • @markbfresh
      @markbfresh 2 года назад

      Yes they do! I have the DXR15 & DXS15. But I got tired of carrying them all the time. The DXS15s weigh 80lbs! I got the rcf 705 asii (also 15") and they are only 50lbs. They are not as good as the Yamahas but that 30lb tradeoff is worth it for smaller gigs. Also putting those DXR15s on poles is tricky. It's easy to hurt my back as well as get them exactly straight. I got some rcf j8s to replace them for smaller gigs and save the Yamahas for larger events. But the Yamahas are amazing speakers that most people sleep on!

Do you ever have any 2.4GHz interference issues with the donners? What batteries are you using on the coins? Is it me or are your totems leaning slightly inward, toward the booth? I love djay pro! I've used it exclusively since 2008. Ditto man...we're so blessed to do this. I've started using a Maui 28 G2 for ceremonies/cocktail or really small. What's the mic you're using on your lapel for the video? Also, would you say it feels a lot different to scratch on the Rane One than say something like a Pioneer DDJ SB 3, which is an entry level, non-motorized controller? This is the controller I currently have. Aha and LOL!..the convenience store...I almost always do that! I usually get Gatorade and candy, LOL! Do you have a link to the cable covers you used on the floor? Yeah, a room that size really needs 18's...nice!

    • @lavishlifedjs
      @lavishlifedjs  2 года назад +1

      Yep djay pro is amazing and keeps getting better…Serato better start stepping up or they will start to loose some market share. I’m using the DJI Mic, really good mic with lots of features. I have the SB3. Scratching feels different because of the movement…I think it’s more effortless with the rane one although I feel like I can pull off some similar scratches either SB3 (I don’t go too crazy during my events, just enough to add some spice)…the covers I got off Amazon…Anbotek - Small 3 Pack - Floor... a.co/d/8dkfAMi the idea came from a gentleman on a Facebook group In part of.

    How do you have your Wash FX2s set up in Soundswitch? Wash Secondary or as a Multi-cell? Also, do you use mostly banks of autoloops or have you scripted your tracks?

    • @lavishlifedjs
      @lavishlifedjs  9 месяцев назад +1

      Mostly banks of autoloops, nothing scripted as I usually only use it as a wash, rather than getting in to the effects.

    Dope videos! For the korg nano key 2 did you have to download any software or driver other than soundswitch to run with soundswitch? And can you briefly explain how you mapped it out? I have one and this is a cool idea!

    • @lavishlifedjs
      @lavishlifedjs  Год назад

      Thanks. I don’t recall having to download any drivers…maybe ? Been about 3 years…Soundswitch makes it very easy to map once your computer recognizes the Korg. Basically just right click on the function you want to map then press the button on the korg you are trying to map in the midi mapping menu section.

    Q. I have ev evolve 50s but I want a setup for a bigger venue such as a gymnasium or outdoor area. Should I get the ev elx 200 12 tops and 18 subs or the rcf evox 12?

      I've used my ZLX15BTs twice and I'm almost regretting my purchase due to their aggressively conservative clipping after they warm up a little. Question. How much headroom did you gain with the addition of the sub? Was the HPF able to boost your output to make a noticeable difference? My system is being used exclusively outdoors for fireworks displays, so it needs to be loud. Apologize for long reply, but your comment is right where I might be heading. Thanks!
