- I spoiled the Ward/Hydra twist for myself during my first watchthrough sadly, but it was still a surprise nonetheless.

The innocent dog representing FitzSimmons is just so accurate which makes it even more painful.
I didn’t even know that dog but i cried when the dog looked at ward so innocent. This is what made hate ward even through he was my favorite character
@@SimbaTheGoldenDoodleOfficial you do realize that Garrett made him do it.
Ward kills the dog, and he drops fitz & Simmons to the ocean
I FULLY DID NOT REMEMBER THAT THEY PUT THAT BIT IN THERE 😭 1:06
I have never felt so betrayed by a character in my life!
God, you can see it on his face that he wants to help them.
Fitzsimmons: *escape Hydra soldiers*
Ward hunting them down: “🎼You’re fucked.🎼”
1:51 This line always gets me.
It's been so long since this but still it is so ❤️ breaking
I know
Right?! Mind if I cry all over again😰
Ehhh, I do believe he cared about them on some level. But Ward was clear that his loyalty to Garrett superceded any other relationship in his life.
And if we're using the dog memory as a parallel, him dropping them was just his 'weakness' flaring up and him deciding to kill them from a distance.
I think he fully intended to kill them with that move. That doesn't mean part of him wasn't relieved to hear that they survived, but I don't think it changes his intention in that moment.
I don't think Ward intended to kill Fitz and Simmons. If he really wanted to kill them, he would've shot them in cold blood. He dropped them in the sea believing that they have a chance to survive. In his mind, this was the only way to save them without disobeying Garrett, effectively killing two birds with one stone.
Best scene in aos
Good soldiers follow orders
Please tell me I am not the only one who gets this reference.
crosshair?
@@LoweLifeJames Well yeah, but also Tup and other Clones.
@@LoweLifeJames This line just made so much sense for Ward. It perfectly describes him.
@@Zach_TheGamer I am going to use that in my Agents of Shield Clone Wars crossover fan fiction.
Ahh… the bus.
The Zephyr is awesome but the Bus had character.
Crazy how the Bus "died" in Season 2 and the "goodness" inside Ward "died" in the Season 2 Finale.
I don't care what anyone says Ward did this because he cared about them and didn't want to kill them. If he was intended to kill them, Mike was on the plane and could've ripped the door off and Ward could've shot them in the head. This way they're not on the plane anymore and have a shot to survive, especially if like me you believe SHIELD would've made those pods so they would float. I mean that seems like something SHIELD would do
This shows so F@#$ing underrated it kinda pisses me offff..
I agree.
Yeah that pisses me off
Ward could have kill them but he decided to throw them in the ocean because he knew they are geniuses and they will always able to find a solution for every problem. 2:11 Just look at his eye
He could easily broken into that contamination pod on plane or bus they call the plane ✈️ killed them why drop them middle of the 🌊 ocean i new they would have survived
The pod was supposed to float, but the height and speed messed up it’s ability to do so.🤷🏾♂️
Hail Hydra

Ward didn’t kill the dog in the past While it’s not specifically shown, I don’t think he did which is why he thought about the dog when dropping fitzsimmons because he succumbed to his weakness before and didn’t want to let himself feel weak again
Pretty sure the show runners confirmed he did, he just couldn’t look buddy in the eye while doing it
@@thecatinthehatifyoudidntkn5096 Just like he couldn't kill fitz-simmons by looking them in the eye.
@@joseavilasgWard could only kill FitzSimmons by using the machine and he hesitated but at the end of the day he tried to kill them.
I don’t wanna defend Ward. He was one of the worst characters. But for a second you can see him not wanting to do this, he probably did something stupid, and now he’s tangled in all this mess. With HYDRA and so on. I believe Ward had a brother like bond with Fitz. But he was in such a mess. His actions had too much impact. He basically couldn’t do anything without ruining something.
He was a terrible character, and he deserved the awful death he got. But that thought will always be with me, if I like it or not.
You just have awful taste if you think ward is a bad character
@@the5minsum442 I think what they meant is that he was a terrible person.
@@the5minsum442 They meant he was one of the morally worst, not the worst in terms of writing
What how is Ward a terrible character, he is by far the most complex and layered character in the show, maybe even in the entire MCU, and Brett Dalton is the best actor in the show.
@@thetruth4654 I think when they said "terrible character", they meant terrible person.
Traitor!
Blame Garrett, it's his fault. He manipulated a vulnerable Ward until he became his little dog. Also, Daisy betrayed the team before Ward did, and later she did with Hive
@@jahdielmedina3590 1) at first she had a different agenda and wasn’t a f**kin level 7 agent.
2) let’s see how you resist all that dopamine
