One of the reasons I liked that Nathaniel got to be the final boss of the series is that he was someone we wanted to see Daisy take out. I just felt bad about Talbot having to be killed, so it's nice to have a villain that the heroes have no emotional attachment to and doesn't leave us feeling sad for them in the end. It made the fight more like a battle as opposed to stopping someone from doing wrong.
It's kind of like the Thanos we got in Endgame. We have no sympathy for him because that version of him hadn't gone through the character development that made us feel sympathy for him in Infinity War. He has gone to being more like his comic book counterpart who was just another red shirt bad guy that the heroes needed to stop. It just makes us root for our heroes more. I just feel like Marvel has done a good job giving us very sympathetic and perhaps misunderstood villains with good intentions, but sometimes, we just need a bad guy to just be the bad guy for our heroes to stop.

Like even if they could be sure Kora's powers would 100% bring Daisy back from the dead, SHE BLEW EVERYTHING AROUND HER THE FUCK UP, how is her body fully intact and how could they have planned for that? Like I woulda bought it a bit more if Daisy blowing up the ship with herself on it was a tragic, unplanned sacrifice and the team manages to find her body and you got this heart wrenching moment of whether or not Kora could revive her.(Kora: "I can heal people, I don't know if I can bring them back from the dead." May: "YOU HAVE TO TRY DAMMNIT!"). But the fact that they seemingly planned every bit of this out is such a dumb climax to what was a usually very smartly written show.
Fitz used the quantum realm to see countless possibilities of how everything would play out, he already knew Kora's powers can revive Daisy. Don't know it would be dumb writing. Also, her body's still intact because she was the one who caused the destruction. Remember what Fitz said in 2x11 and what happened at the temple in 2x10.
the fighting scene seems so fake and very badly directed. the first kick at @min1:21 that she throws at him doesnt even come close to him and camera captures it perfectly. they seem to be pulling their punches and makes this fight scene really really doll.

He's had the quake powers for A LOT longer than Daisy has, and has mastered them. His knowledge and experience with Inhuman powers was so great that he knew how to effectively utilise Kora's powers INSTANTLY after he acquired them. Nathaniel Malick was simply too powerful for Daisy to defeat without sacrificing herself. And besides, why would you want the final villain of the series to be easy to defeat? How underwhelming would it be if the final main antagonist of the entire series just got curbstomped? It wasn't just better for the final battle to be a struggle for the heroes, it was necessary.

@@Unversed333 I’m saying that Daisy wasn’t powerful enough to defeat Nathaniel without killing herself. Nathaniel was stronger and more skilled at wielding the power than she was. It wasn’t that Daisy was letting Nathaniel win in any way, she was straining to stay alive and hold him at bay until the rest of the heroes could fulfil their parts where she would have to kill herself to stop him. All she could do was stall, but she could never beat him without pulling a suicide move to save the others, a concept that Nathaniel, who doesn’t care about anyone, could not understand and thus did not predict until it was too late. If the other heroes had taken too long, Nathaniel would’ve probably killed Daisy and won.

No, because if it did, it would have had a downer ending with an unresolved cliffhanger. Season 7 was greenlit while Season 6 was still in the production stages, so in a way, it and Season 7 are one season split in half.
