Love his business structure. Love the applied principles here. Honestly, in this one episode, I think I spent $50-80K USD for this exact information on bizdev process and principles. Take notes everyone. Worth every second.

The pre-pivot of having two other 'go-to' products lined up in the event they're needed is pretty genius.
My 1st software company, started right out of college in 1991, had mediocre early sales. The two of us lost interest and folded the company. "We learned something."
Well, sort of. If at that time we had 'tamed' our optimism about our product, AND had the presence-of-mind to have two other options on deck, wow - what a different outcome we might have had.

My dream is to take all the things I’ve learned and put it into a formula for others. I’m very focused on the beginner type clientele. These are my people. The ones who are standing on the cliff ready to jump. I’m very science based in my mindset but it’s spiritually driven. I want people to understand the benefits of knowing how their brain works and what to do to create a life they are satisfied with. I’m waiting for the “big idea” to come to me. You seem to have a missing piece for me. I’ll continue to watch to see if I can discover it. I have lots of ideas but the creating part seems to not be happening.

Hi Rob, I keep going back and watching episode 1 and continue to review other episodes as well and I finally need to act. I need my magnum opus and I need a sherpa. I have been in hard part and soft good product design and development for over 23 years now working for large and small companies from a large powersports distributor own brands to small startup brand to small design house to smaller full merchandise producer/provider with e-commerce solutions. Over my career I have collected over 40 different product ideas to better improve people’s lives. But I have never acted on them as I have not properly planned time outside my busy family life and work life to get these ideas fully vetted and worked through but I have the proper market fit for each. I need to reach out to your team and make it happen.

Yah I looking fwd to submitting. My project is in line with all your parameters as far as budget limits / consumer product as well as great potential for success worldwide offering 1 of a kind patented technology to give market advantage. Clone products with a new name or whatever or slight variation aren’t gonna stand out.
Yah you said your looking for idea stage. I technically am just selling Frankenstein part wheel add on kits for foam rollers to prove concept which is slow as to my limited budget and marketing but nothing but good reviews so far. Tbh I been promoting this 5 yrs and never had 1 negative comment on any social media. Lots of celebrity feedback from UFC champ Keith Jardine / American Ninja Warrior and more.
I want more then just an after market kit. My vision is a full foam roller / balance board / resistance band bar kit options. Currently NO balance board besides Revolution Balance Boards (which I buy off EBay and resell) offers a soft foam top which is way better for planks and just I overall feel. Most boards are rough grip tape. Lastly Rev Balance discontinued those boards? So there’s a void right there. Then offer a custom band kit to go with boards to do my “ full body training”. Plus if you don’t balance board you can do planks or just use roller for other training / stretches or PT. Anyone can use it for some purpose.
Great for chain gyms as well in stretch area.
I think Rob will love this project on many levels. The whole brand which I have Registered TM “ hover roller” just creating a great competitive priced kit for all levels with new improved training / PT.
On top of all that I’m super Do or Dier living in Riverside ready to travel to any area / gym / event to promote and make connections / sales. Plus I got so many high level influencers ready to do vids some I can and some I can’t afford but willing to back it.
I’d like to get it in more gyms and prove sales more but I’m optimistic to pitch. I can run the business with some coaching after we formulate the best approach to making it sustainable long term.

Rob, I heard you on MFM and your pitch was good. This pitch was awful. On one hand you say you want to "be disruptive" and make money doing it. Good, then you say 'but we don't want to change the world like going from oil to electric cars'. I don't work for you, but that right there tells me you why isn't big enough. Your going to fail if your why isn't big enough. Learning VC lingo and reading "Built to Sell" isn't going to make you a legend. You gotta risk it for the biscuit.
