Literally in the fixture that he said Oliver should be officiating this weekend (Arsenal v City), he didn't give Kovacic a second yellow for a dangerous late challenge from behind.
You'd think someone with so much experience in the game wouldn't talk so much bollocks.
It's CRAZY he was appointed to that game even before the wolves game, when in the last game Arsenal played City, he sent Trossard off in an also controversial, "make it all about me" decision.
Thing is Oliver never was appointed to that game. Media are just saying that Oliver isn't the ref for that game to make it seem like he was supposed to be the ref there.

Neville and Rooney benefitted directly from the most corrupt - yes, corrupt - refereeing display in Premier League history, Mike Riley's officiating in the Manchester United 2-0 Arsenal match in 2004. Keane was injured that day. So how Neville's got the gall to claim it doesn't happen. And isn't it standard policy for PGMOL Premier League referees to get a week or two off in they make a howler of a mistake?

We can moan as much as we want. When the game is over the team or ref that's found out cheating there's no reprimand for the ref or the club.. Giving them a fine is like a drop in the ocean.

I have been saying that since it happened I was so f ing angry with ref's and media that day man-u player's, the first 2 or 3 tackles looked at ref's and lines man saw they could get away with leg breaking tackles and went yes for 90m they literally kicked us off the park.
Paying special attention to cashly Cole that is why nev and kean every time they speak and especially when they are talking about arsenal say bollocks to them because of that day.

The reason its so bad.
1. The same referee issued a yellow later in the game for a similar but more malicious tackle.
2. The same referee who sent our two players of for "delaying a restart" didnt send off jao gomez for delaying a restart while in a yellow card in the same match.
3. The same referee has been caught up in too many "coincidences" where he gave bad decisions toward teams that are regarded as rivals if man city.
A coincidence happens one or twice. 3 or 4 times is a pattern of behavior.
Simple as.
Other teams have terrible decisions against them but their fan base isnt as big and reactive so we dont hear about it and media dont reference it nearly as much.
Arsenals problem is that we get decisions that have never seen before.
This same referee gave Martinelli a yellow twice for one sequence of play.
Sent of 2 players off for delaying restarts, for the 1st time ever.
Never gave Kovocic a single yellow for 2 malicious and dangerous tackles where studs touched above the ankle.
If you cant see that there is some sort of agenda, maybe not the PGMOL but definitely with THIS referee your simply a hater of arsenal more than a lover of football.

There are 2 things that can be correct here,
Arsenal fans can be frustrated by the team, Arteta etc we aren’t doing slightly better in the league due to overplaying players, not signings etc as well as getting frustrated when referring for arsenal is completely different compared to others.
All teams get bad decisions yes, but has arsenal not had red cards that no one else has I.e the x2 for kicking the ball away, the Saliba red card, the Saliba penalty and now the LS.

I’m Arsenal and saw the bad refereeing against Man U when we played them, so I call it out. This isn’t about Arsenal, it’s much more about the standards of refereeing and the current failure of VAR to be confident and independent enough to overturn decisions. However, Oliver couldn’t wait to get that red card out within a blink. Then you have VAR who are often pals or subordinates of the on field referee compounding the situation. So you have two lines of checks that simply failed, and it had to go to an independent review who rescinded the red card… what does that tell you.

There should never be a mindset that one ref is "the best in the country"they should all be so good that you can't tell them apart .why because VAR is there to make sure the right decision is made .but because both the refs and VAR are biased and spiteful we don't have that . People will also say Arsenal players shouldn't give a ref a reason ,meaning Arsenal shouldn't make the same tactical fouls and do the same dark arts the rest of the teams are allowed to .that's not fair .

If you a watched the press conference, Klopp clearly said that maybe a replay could have been a possibility but he didn’t know if it was, he never demanded a replay which is what Sky incorrectly accused him of.
