What a lot of good info about veggies to plant & planning a garden. That phrase "trap crop" is new to me. That's a great way to use mustard to protect garden. Loved the way Eleanor said brussel sprouts are the "baddest" crop for pest control. :o) 15:15 - 15:31 What can I say? Babies playing with babies. So sweet. Wish I could do a fall garden, but my northern zone 4 gets too cold too early. Fall is when we clean up and prepare garden beds for winter. 💖💖💖

Brussels sprouts get best after frost. It sweetens them.
If necessary to pick before getting frost, at least freeze them for a few days before cooking.
