saw them at pearl street in southhampton ma. the show got shut down because fsu was repping. then a riot broke out in the street because of a clash between hardcore kids and club kids. right around 1997
Yeah its most likely a piccolo... With a HD head cranked tight. I used to play a Mapex mars series with a piccolo and it sounded great. Just gotta tighten the head to the moon lol. 👍😁
The bass on this album is a lot more distorted than I remember. It's funny how Snapcase went from having one of the most clear bass mixes to an LP where the bass is really hard to hear (End Transmission)
one of the best releases on victory
One of the tightest hc bands there ever was! The production is incredible and every instrument can be heard clearly!
They’re incredible
I love when the bass cuts right through.
Came up in the feed after not hearing it for about a decade. Such a great live band. Lookinglasself and steps were my favorite albums.
This was the best 7 inch I owned, it was a soundtrack of my teens
and it s still mine at 46yo. with lots of othet punk hc
Same here dude! This and overcasts albums
Absolutely one of the craziest concerts I’ve ever been to
Great music stirs deep nostalgia.
Incredible 7".
Even though Bert and Ernie were cut out.
Snap! Crackle! Pop! In 2019! Hardcore For Life!
What a scene these bands made sheesh I learned to drum listening to this album and looking glass self. He started that tight cracking snare
Underrated recording.
OMG! Thank you for posting this!!!!
The smartest hardcore band .. i used to play their songs
Best release they ever had- liked the other ones (A LOT), well except the covers album (so-so), but THIS ALBUM- Fire!!!!

Sounds about right lol. I'm from Albany-Troy and was going to shows playing in bands then.It was interesting!
Corona in 1995 here. Those FSU guys were the worst
Early tough, pissed off metalcore meets Helmet style stop/start alt-metal. The results are good
Hey, great to hear this thanks. Saw them and bought the album, I believe t was cassette ! at Lost Horizon Syracuse NY. Awesome
Maybe the most " pocket" drummer ever. Great nuanc3....drum sound in general. Whatever snare and drum heads he used I'd like to know.
Sounds like a piccolo snare. Pork Pie makes good ones. Primus uses em too

pure fire.
This one sounds like noise rock. It strongly reminds me of Unsane and Today is the Day.
Just listening to this made my throat hurt

Love this EP, but you're right. Total Helmet worship.

They were better before getting signed. Check out their demo from 1991.
