that makes sense, it's tricky to file to the exact right tolerances though where you can push them through but not to the point where there's wiggle. After my experience with press fitted frames i think I'm going back to the traditional style
Hey SuperFlaqs, its held up reasonably well, though the small piece holding the motor is definitely a weak point, a few of my frames have broken on that area. Overall it's a nice frame, especially for the price. But for full on racing I've went back to more traditional frames because they're more durable and much easier to switch arms / broken parts with, which is important at a race.
@@DroneRacingAcademy Have you tried the Upgrade arm support for front and rear on this Source V as well? Does that improve anything durability vise? Thanks for the reply! Will take 1 frame for testing i guess.
I have not tried the upgraded arms support. And yeah I think at this price it's worth a try to see if it works for you! Let me know what you think of it. =)
@@DroneRacingAcademy Tried it out and it felt quite good, maiden flight: ruclips.net/video/zV0Qe3cWh_4/видео.html Guess ill switch all 3 of my drones to this one :)
Ive already built mine but i have a extra frame and wanted to put some old extra components on it and I had to follow along thanks for the vid💀‼️
Keep at it
Thanks bud! Appreciate it!
Great video!
The key to these press fitted frames is to have some small diamond files handy they almost always need them

Any information on the durability after the period you have had it now? Thinking of switching to this.
