imagine duel wielding 2 of these with stefans, 32 shots using hammershots, now that would be epic, drac would love something like this.
serpentax or if you’re like me, you’d get 16 shots because I shoot them at the same time. It makes you feel cooler and more powerful.
Little did we know we would eventually be able to make 32 dart Hammershots.

Awesome review. I was expecting an 8 shot shotgun, but 16 individual shots is way more cool. Need to do an expanded pt mod now since the spring mod isn't efficient.
Is it weird that the first thing that comes to mind when he's loading the short darts is the scene in Jurassic Park when Nedry is loading up the dino embryos into the shaving cream can?

Does that effect apply with other short darts too? I imagine the accufakes with the larger diameter head would contribute quite a bit to the friction and perhaps nipple or worker darts would have the usual shotgun effect
Maybe? I just checked and it also worked with the sweet orange darts so I thinks is not just the accufakes that it works with -R

Personally I prefer a loose fit for the index piece as a loose fit is easier to correct than a really tight fit

I removed the air restrictor from my hammershot and the posts from the original 5 round cylinder, and loaded it with flat head half darts and it fires two rounds at once from each chamber.
Could this same modification also work on the Sweet Revenge blaster?
Yes, since both blasters share the same internal components.

Possibly, but you can't fit 8 darts with the brass wall thickness.
I think Alice Coatduck has a brass kit.

For sure not
I did the same thing with my reflex six I took out the dart posts upgraded the spring padded the plunger head and used each barrel as a blunderbuss style (shove whatever in it) I filled it with 2 half darts each and shotgunned it. The darts didn’t have a good fit but all in all it was decent as a oh shit secondary it could still take normal darts.

Metal hammers add weight, which slows down the speed at which the spring expands, and thus the speed at which the piston can move- resulting in lower velocities. Metal trigger is fine, but you WANT to keep the hammer as light as possible.
SuicideNeil is absolute right. I didn't quite say it in the video, but metal hammers are bad for performance -R

Im curious, I know it probably won't get a reply just based off how many people watch these videos but what kind of darts do you use? They look like knock off acustrikes, And i haven't been able to find any like them save for the "Waffle" heads
I got them as full lengths off AliExpress then cut them down, but they are also on LighTake and they sell pre-cut ones.

Hey guys... the double loading is amazing!! Quick question... do you know if you can double load the 7 round cylinders? Or even the stock 5? Thanks for your videos!
No for the stock cylinder as it tapers in near the seal, probably yes for the 7 shot.
If you remove the poles you can double fire 2x short darts.
Dang it, I JUST did a 6 shot cylinder last week!
c'mon ryan, the only reason you can't ramrod single stefans is because those are accufakes/ waffles or whatever. FVJ's, Elites, Nipples and such won't have that issue.
*shrug* I tested what I had at hand. Maybe the results will be different when we move to Worker V2 Stefans, but until then this is what we got -R
The inline clip is pretty sweet, but probably won't work with something with a smaller tip, which then would lend itself to ram rodded single darts, or an 8 shot shotgun. Which, the more I think about it, the more all those options excite me.

Why hasnt anyone made 3d printed half dart cylinder for the Negotiator or the Lawbreaker? You can get double or triple the capacity in these blasters with the right system thanks to the gratuitous size of the cylinders, and from the amount of space needed for a single half length.
having a hammershot makes you able to have 1 gun in each hand making you able to have 32 shots instead of 16

That's bad advice for running stefans in a hammershot. You need to run stefans with small dart heads not cut down accufakes. It's the same problem with sealed or brassed breaches. The accufake/accustrike dart heads are too big for the barrel.
Get two of them run 32 darts

Wut? Do you mean why don't Hasbro/Nerf make 8 shot cylinders the standard, instead of 5 shots? Probably something to do with material strength/durability vs thickness- as noted, the teeth on the rotation mech wear out quicker when there are more of them ( = thinner ).

Use joules not fps. Fps is just a number that doesn't apply if your useing different weight ammunition. Pls do both if your concerned about people not knowing what to do with joules.

I understand that, but joules can only be applied to the impact area, not the in flight speed of the bullet. Speed is a variable of distance and time. Something that all militaries universally use. Joule is a variable of mass, gravity, directional energy, and altitude. Although it does apply, the math would take too long as there is no machine that can measure for miles or, in the case of Nerf, up to hundreds of feet. This is the reason why joules are not used.
FPS is a measurement of SPEED. Joules is a measurement of ENERGY ( SPEED X MASS ).
