Why Do We Take Vacations To Get Tired? - Kenny Sebastian in Kerala

- It's not surprising that we come back from our trips exhausted.
I travel a lot thanks to my job and have been lucky to have visited exotic locations but I always come back to take a few days to rest again...What was the point of the trip?
What do I need to do to be truly rested?
Well I guess, the answer was to do nothing.
Going to Kerala for a last minute trip reminded what travelling was all about...Breathing in and absorbing the place you are going to.

Good work Kenny!
This video was the best I felt like I was traveling with you ENJOYED IT A LOT!!
Being a malayali, every vacation in kerala reminds me of the sound of crickets at night, big cups of chaaya, glorious kappa and kanthaari, appam and beef, ammachis and church songs. And of course, the rains are the prettiest in kerala.
It is Gods own country indeed!
Wow...I can connect each and every word used to said..
Missing home!
So true omg. I'm a Mallu living in Delhi and every time I visit home, I can recognize it instantly just from the smell of the air. It's so distinct haha.
Indeed
Whyyy😥😥 you had to do it to me like that
#state
Damn... after seeing this video I'm like...eniku naatil poneee😭😅
Well hello LD!!
You look lot like my brother 😬😅
Yes it was calming. I'm not malayali but most of my friends are coz I live very close to kerala n my college is at kerala Tamil Nadu border. Also my bf is malayali so we frequently visited kerala before Lockdown. We simply bunked college of bad days, took our bikes and went to pkd, kava, mannarkadu, just to have claiming day and to have biryani.... Somedays we took trains too, Just to enjoy the nature..... Those days were so good........ Most importantly, around July 2019 me n my friends had so hard times. We were understanding people and going through changes (emotionally). We planned a sudden trip to kochi. We were able to find peace and realize what is to be done. Me n my boy bestie went as best friends and came back as travel partners, well I proposed him. After 3 months, we went to thirvandapurum and came back as couples❤️ and same happens with all my friends........ My college days are all about doing thing with malayalis and roaming in kerala...... And it's been best time of my life
whoaa sophisticated story
Kerala always leaves me in a state of calmness and a completely different mindset. ♥️😭
Thank you for this ♥️

Kenny, a million thanks to you. The feeling just wrapped me in warmth and teared me a little. I realized how much I need this vacation. I am from Kochi and keep running home every other weekend from the concrete jungle I live. God bless you, what a reminder of bliss feeling!
You're lucky to be living in Kochi. I'm a malayalee living outside Kerala. I feel I should be taking a vacation sometimes to these beautiful surroundings
Fellow kochikaaran ✌️
Lol I live in Mumbai , trust me kochi is heaven and not a concrete jungle.
Malayalis are everywhere... They forgot their home is most beautiful place in the world... BTW I'm not malayali
#Hashtag the grass is greener on the other side bruv!!
We know our home is beautiful but we need jobs to survive. Its the story of most malayalee migrants. 🙂
We love our place .But we needa live make some bucks so we migrate to other country's . I moved to LA last year and I'm sure I'll be back. All these developments in kerala i believe are because of migration. This is something happening for centuries and I'm following the legacy.but Kerala will always be my home n I love my place
Kerala is definitely a beautiful place ❤️🌸

Kenny big fan!! Your sarcasm is epic
This video somehow made me cry 😭 you need to do more of this .. great experience man kenny
In 2011, as a family of five (includes my dog), we took a weekend trip from Hyderabad to a camping site two hours away. We didn't do much at all. Strolled in the forest patch nearby, played some games together. Our then 10yr old dog had a ball of a time. Also, it was the last time I saw him so happy. He passed away of tick fever and kidney damage the following year. Out of all the happening and gorgeous places that I have had the fortune of travelling to, I will regard this last trip with my dog most relaxing and full of life.
Wow Kenny thanks for this ....damn we always have holidays eating up more energy than ever .... holidays are hardly chill types these days ....we're forever running about clicking pictures every where, running to force new experiences all the frikkin time....this is a good reminder.... Thanks man your awesome
This was actually calming.
I just came back to Bangalore from Dharamsala. Lived there for a month. Did nothing, didn't shoot a lot of videos or photographs. Luckily found great company. Went on many car rides and bus rides, watched too many sunsets and starry nights. Walked a lot to many nearby villages, hiked a bunch. The most delightful trip I've ever taken. I feel extremely bad that it's over.
This was such a wonderfully curated video, honestly loved this! :)
I went to Darjeeling with my buddies last year after 1 month of training (after 3rd yr of engineering) in Kolkata and it was during FIFA world cup finals... It was an off season time to visit Darjeeling since it rained but the Rain was so relaxing and added to the calming experience I was missing from my life... Those 3 days were unforgettable... The day we left was the day of FIFA final...
We just walked with an umbrella all day.
This year we went to kullu manali before we graduated but it was too commercial for me..
We graduated few days ago and out of all the travelling I've done, Darjeeling is the place I actually miss and it was not like a checklist for me although we went there thinking that.
You video really gave out the same vibe and I have high expectations from Kerala now.
Thank you for sharing this video Kenny.
On behalf of a chilled viewer.

Once I went to a village with my 2 friends who are 6 years elder than me and also there was sasuma of one friend who was traveling with us... Usually we take our stock with us if we are traveling but that day I planned to not get high on anything and just enjoy with them and the nature.... Which was not happening exactly , we had a fight and I was totally pissed off... So when we were returning back they said there is a family who used to stay in city but now they stay in a place where no one comes... They have made there house with bamboos and they rarely meet anyone... They were frustrated with all the chaoos and they wanted to live in peace... They wanted to leave the competition of racing in life... After hearing such interesting things about them I got really excited and said YES lets go! When we reached that place and when I met that person and his family I was very curious about what mind set he might be having, as leaving the luxury is not easy for so many years... We planned to stay there for half an hour but when I sat on the jhula which also was made by that uncle and watching around and talking with them for some time I felt real peace I guess... It was amazing and we didn't come to know how 3 hrs passed away... The family was so amazing I thought they might be little boring but they were exactly opposite... That was my memory.... Felt good to share with you☺️
I've never really been on a trip where I had a calming experience. It was always about making the most of every second I spend there.
I'll probably go on a trip soon just to chill. Great video btw.
