Grandpa can spawn 2 places 1.Where he was in your video and 2.Rite in front of the fuse spawn on the left side of the church in the grass also for the bubba mains there's only 1 Gallow on this map and it's in the Caretakers Cabin that's the only one
Bro if the fusebox spawns on the side of the church facing the valve exit, or the back of the church, then the family can literally just stand in front of the two generator gates, and the main water pump area gate, so that victims without both max strength and max proficiency literally can't do anything at all to escape...this map is gonna be even harder than family house when people memorize the fusebox spawns...
I think I have a decent patrol worked out as Leatherface. That would be a good thing to make a video about. I will say that it seems confusing but there’s an entire part of the basement that you never need to go to at all as LF, if I’m understanding it correctly. All of the doors except for one appear to be grouped together, so you can just patrol through a specific area.
I did the same thing when playing as LF. I entered the area with the fuse escape door and could not figure out how to get back up. Spent the reminder of the match running in circles trying to get out
Great vid. I do see a major shift in map designs since The Mill, with more focus on size, more obstacles and more a maze like layout, with an increase in loop spots which is no fun for the majority of family characters. Just compare the last two to the original three (and even Nancys House). For victims obviously a larger map with more obstacles, buildings, loop spots and hiding places works a treat. For family, it's a nightmare of patrolling back and forth, always worried about leaving an area (especially if a gate has been popped) as it's not only the long journey back, but also the maze like route to get there (which for majority of family characters means going around every obstacle rather than through a gap). I just think the original maps were better thought out for the gameplay, whereas the newer maps are more focused on size and the look/feel at the cost of gameplay. Time will tell of course, but I will say that the basement here is terrible for Bubba. His sheer size in those tight corridors means you can't see where you're going.
I have a feeling that’s definitely a “Black Tower” issue. Now that Sumo is gone, I can see where their strengths lie. It seems Black Tower isn’t very good at animations either, because the facial and body animations of the new characters appear to be a bit… off. Things just aren’t as smooth as Sumo’s original designs. :/
@@SerraMyers Agree with that. The last executions just look so basic and poorly animated. Cook swinging his stick looks like he'd barely cause a bruise. I love the idea of more maps, even mirrored versions of what we currently have to add some variety and double the content, but not if they're going to be poorly planned out and the focus is just going to be on the cosmetic rather than the gameplay. No idea where the thinking for Bones came from. It's clearly the Cook model with some small changes. Plus that drop down the well is stupid. Victims fall down it because they're victims, but he should drop down and land on his feet. I personally wish family had got another fast chaser. Sissy has clearly been forgotten about, so Hitch needs a partner in crime.
If y’all already learn enough, this map is very easily for family to monitoring critical door! You only need camp 3 critical door: -water pump gate at old cemetery(in front of church building) -generator+vavle right and left gate at new cemetery(beside church building) just like serra said. Just padlocks that 3 gates if you play as cook. And even in the basement if you play as bubba, you only need patrolling 6 critical door that are actually very close each other!
When I was playing on this map yesterday as Family I was so confused about where everything was. I know I could have gone into a private match to explore but sometimes I prefer just learning as I play. Victim players seemed equally as lost which was clear by the fact it took them forever to come out of the basement. 😂
One insane thing is that danny can tamper the water drain valves, and without needing to inspect them first either, so you can get the water drained pretty easily as danny
@toripistefi6076 i assume that it wont let the family deactivate them, however theres a huge bug rn, tampering all 3 water drains wont drain the water and just softlocks the water drain exit, it might a private match bug tho cuz thats where i tested it
i was waiting for you to make this video! thank you so muchhhhh, i played this map all night and still had no idea what gate to watch BESIDES the 2 gen gates.
Serra this is a video all new Graveyard players need to watch. So well done, and your Family game plan suggestions and victim are great. You always have great content and I don’t comment on all of it, but I am sure to hit that like button, but man this is so well done. Thanks so much!
Thanks for the video Serra, I’ve been busy lately so didn’t get to play anything new with Texas lately, so it will feel like going in blindly while everyone has experience. This will help me escape, or totally not ruin my family game
Was JUST going to comment on that church grounds door that leads to that dead end basement section over by the left corner water pump but right as I was going to you began addressing it lol I stumbled upon it last night with Sonny and spent a long time trying to figure if it connected to the bigger basement area, I felt lost like I was doing something wrong but you just confirmed I’m not crazy thank you 😂
Cant wait to see gameplay of ur squad playing this map, u have the best strategies for patrolling so it will help a lot. Thanks for making this vid too!
Gameplay videos are on the way very soon! Probably by tomorrow morning or tonight. I think I need one more Bones game against a good squad on the new map, and I should be good for a family video.
Thanks for info Serra! So far as victim, I’ve been having a lot of trouble finding any of the wells, I keep running into dead ends and dying 🥲Also haven’t seen grandpa spawn anywhere else either besides the spot you showed
Amazing strat! RIP water pump escape for solo q players, though. I tried to activate them on my own five times in a row in a single match, but whenever one pump’s done, it gets undone right away. This map is definitely squad friendly, but it’s so damn beautiful!
Great video! The only different grampa spawn I got was in the left corner of the church. The one you got is at the right corner. Both are really close to each other so I don't think it makes that much of a difference. Loving this map so far but my only disappointment is that the bell tower doesn't have any use appart from a health bottle spawning. I was chasing a leland as hitchhiker and he made the mistake of going up there. It's a deathtrap.
The two separated basement areas do connect, but you have to unlock a door to connect them. the door looks like a basement exit in the main basement area
I think you’re talking about the fuse box tunnel area, which does not connect to that other area underneath the place with two water pumps. All metal sliding doors lead upstairs to the middle part of the map, aside from the one that leads to the fuse box tunnel - from my current understanding. Where is the sliding door that you’re talking about? There’s also some other videos on RUclips of people showing where all of the basement sliding doors lead, including one by a creator named “Raven” who posts excellent TCM videos. In her video, none of the basement sliding doors lead to the basement underneath double water pump area.
Hi Serra and Johnny, Thankyou so very much for the map video, I had a good look at all of the details when I was by myself in private customs, Its such a huge maze down in the basement, I didn't know there was a third area, i knew there was a second area with the pump room and fuse exit, but not a third with a second pump exit. So the Church is the main point for fuse boxes, as soon as you said The Church is going to be the centre point of the map I was like yep, I too had that thought also, I really appreciate your help so so much. I can't wait to see game play videos on this map soon, Have an epic day today and thankyou Serra and Johnny. 😊😊😊😻😻😻😍😍😍🥰🥰❤️❤️🫂🫂
I don’t really think so. He could be really good with some minor tweaks, but he feels a bit lackluster to me right now. I’ll probably discuss it further in my video that I put together tomorrow. There’s a ton of stuff to say about this update.
@@-kdot-2332 I played victim for five hours straight and most of those games were against Bones players. Most of them subscribed to the “he’s a great chaser” ideology and chased us until we were escaping right out the door. Lol.
If you know the rite perks for Bones and know the maps he can be OP but you can't just buy him and think you know what you're doing you gotta get use to him he's literally just a re worked Chop Top and it's noticeable

I love the map, but when there's one person left this map is hell.
A quick note, Cook can hear the water pumps with his ability when they are on.
I mean what map isn’t hell when you’re the last one left? 😭

The basement is a nightmare labyrinth, stay away from it family. LF. Get out right away. I got stuck there lost for 5 minutes 😆
