Hi friends! I wanted to wish you a wonderful Easter weekend!🌸🌼🌷Thank you so much for watching French for a Day! xoxo
Buona Pasqua anche a te, bella! :)
PS - thanks for your hard work on the info box, so detailed, it must take you a long time
Buongiorno Angela , I'm 63 from Milano. Givenchy prisme libre glow is my perfect daily foundation.
3N 250 in the summer, 2N 150 in winter time. Thanks for your reviews .
I bought the new water fresh Touche de Teint form Chanel . Think it will be great for our hot summer nights. Have nice easter, too.
I couldn't agree with you more about splurging on complexion products. I have used Sisley foundations for years and recently started using the Sisleya Le Teint--lovely finish and a perfect color match for my fair skin. Yes, Sisley is expensive, especially in the U.S. market. That said, because I take very good care of my skin, I use maybe a half pump or less. Each bottle lasts a long time. I want to try Sisley's tinted moisturizer next. I greatly appreciate how you emphasize skin care and using makeup to enhance your skin--not just covering it up!
I completely agree on investing in good foundation, it works well and last a long time.
This is my favorite style of foundation! I much prefer the look of embracing your natural features without feeling the need to "change" anything. On the higher end, I love Armani Crema Nuda... I'm not sure if it's technically a foundation or a moisturizer, but it feels amazing and just brightens up my face in the best way. On the more affordable side, I have really been enjoying the Tarte Maracuja Hydrating Tinted Moisturizer!
Hi heather, I adore Armani's Crema nuda. It's a very extraordinary product that seems to be disappearing in Europe. I would call it a sophisticated tinted moisturizer :) It's more than a tinted moisturizer but less than foundation. A very unique product. I haven't tried Tarte. Have a great weekend and thank you so much for mentioning these products. xoxo
So glad you have done such a thorough review of the Sisiely tinted moisturizer over several videos (which I went through). It’s definitely expensive and I just couldn’t find enough reviews on it! I’m pretty sold on it so will be buying soon after a few more sample tries myself, probably along with the concealer. These two will be the only complexion products I’ll own so hope they are perfect!
Although I’m now eyeing the lip twist and round blush thing. Lol
I wholeheartedly agree on the water fresh tint…..I’m 56 and very dry skin….I think it is magical…lol. It really does feel wonderful and my skin feels saved by the hydrating feeling it gives. It took me awhile to purchase because it seemed an indulgence and more want than need, but I haven’t come across anything similar and I do use the Nars Radiant Tinted Moisturizer……so kudos to Chanel on this product.
Oh and I think luxury products don't have quite a real dupe. Their quality can't be replaced.
So please continue with luxury brands since youtube is saturated with affordable or drugstore influencers
Thank you for being unique 😊
Agreed 👍🏻
100% agreed.
Agree.
Hi Angela, I tried yesterday and today the Sisley Phyto foundation in #2 along with the concealer #1.It is wonderful :) My skin looks perfected and natural "Good skin day"! Thank you for the recommendation !
This video just solidified the fact that I like and appreciate all the things you do - out of all the foundations you’re talking about I’m missing only one, the Sisley, and of course now I want to try it too. I must add, not only you talking and explaining everything so well, you demonstrating it so well too with your flawless complexion and timeless beauty! Thank you for this wonderful video!
Hi Elena and thank you so much for this heartwarming comment. It means the world to me. 🥰❤ Have a great day and thank you for watching my videos. xoxo
Angela, you are a breath of fresh air. Thank you for all the honest videos. I can watch your videos all day. Your voice is so calming. Happy Easter to you and your partner.
My favorite is Dior Dreamskin cushion foundation. Not as much product as a bottle, but it works so well for the light coverage I prefer.
I have some of these and can share your praise of the products-I would say one affordable product (price per ounce) that looks like skin IF it matches your skin tone is the Elta MD UV Physical spf 41 tinted product. I can work that into my skin and it looks so natural and is so comforting as an everyday product. It’s $35-$40 or so, but you get 3.4 oz. Worth a try if anyone is on a budget. I wore the Chanel tint last night and wondered why I didn’t reach for it more. Amazing. Great video.
Hi Jessi! :) Thank you so much for mentioning the Elta MD. I adore their clear SPF. Sadly, in Europe it's really hard to their products. I always as friends to send me from the US. Otherwise they are not sold here. But it's a fantastic brand! xoxo
I am going to have to try the Chanel 1. I ordered the Chanel water tint based on your recommendation. It feels wonderful and hydrating on my skin so I will wear when staying around the house. But I have some post acne dark spots and unfortunately it does not cover at all. Your skin is absolutely beautiful!
Hi Angela, this is a great video. I bookmarked it for myself for the time when I will need to buy a new foundation. I prefer light to medium coverage that looks “like my skin, but better” with natural finish. I bought Sisley tinted moisturizer on your recommendation and can’t be happier about it. Givenchy is really the one I’m contemplating to get, but a bit afraid of glow effect - I have combination skin with a bit oily t-zine. I don’t know if you ever tried Guerlain Perure gold matte foundation - this is my favourite if I need something more then a tinted moisturizer.
Hi Angela! I hope you have a great Easter weekend too.
You always look naturally flawless. I really enjoy your videos.
I have learned a lot from your tips and luxury product suggestions. I love the ones I bought thanks to you.
We have similar skin and taste in makeup: natural with a pop of color, feminine and focusing on skincare.
Thank you so much for the amazing quality of your videos and sharing your knowledge with us. You are the best
Love you 🤗
Hi Danielle and thank you from the bottom of my heart for the wonderful words! You made my day! 🥰❤ After this comment I feel so inspired. THANK YOU! And I love you too. ❤ Wishing you and your loved ones a great Easter weekend! xoxo
Hiya, Wow, thanks for this video, will be trying out these products especially the tints! 😍
Thank you for sharing your experience 😊 I tried 4/6 foundations from your video. The Sisley- my problem is the scent and shade. We have the same shade in foundations , and you also mentioned you use it in the late summer. The Chanel n1 I love. It my favorite foundation. The givenchy is also really good. I would also recommend the Sisley cushion foundation, I tried it recently and it’s really good and the shade is also perfect 00c. I have both Chanel water fresh (the light coverage and the medium), I should use them more .
I Absolutely Adore your approach to the flawless skin look, and invisible makeup look! ( Whew finally!)
Hi Angela, I’m a fairly new subscriber but just wanted to say how amazing this is (as someone who doesn’t live near any shops) I recently ordered the 2 Lancome serums you recommended, the Estée Lauder SPF and the Chanel water fresh tint as a gift to myself for my 40th birthday! I am loving your honest opinion on everything you try and am looking forward to trying one of these foundations. I’m combination skin (normal to dry everywhere but oily forehead - nightmare!) but the Givenchy one or Chanel No 1 look lovely!
It does not matter what foundation I try, nothing compares to Chanel No. 1, Eau de Teint and the Jane Iredale PurePressed powder foundations. All three give my combo oily skin a beautiful glow and work with my oils. The colours work for my skin tone too.
I love your channel. You are so elegant. I just ordered Sisley tinted moisturizer. Cannot wait to test out. Thank you for such a thorough video. I also love the Givenchy and Chanel No. 1 foundations you mention here. I have normal to slightly dehydrated skin.
I have been using Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua for years, and also, I sometimes use the Water Fresh Tint. I am intrigued to try the No 1 foundation. I have oily skin (which is nice as it has helped me remain wrinkle free, but it does add a complexity to makeup routines)
I second Chanel VA. On my dry skin, it’s not quite hydrating enough the winter, but it’s sensational in the spring, summer, and early fall! The perfect French girl foundation!
I am very happy that you explained why good foundation is better that cheap foundation
Angela, glad to see we love the same types of foundation. I think I have all of them except the Givenchy. The Chanel N1 is one of my daily favorites and I really like the Sisley foundation for that more coverage flawless look. Your skin always looks beautiful and flawless! Happy Easter! 🐣
Hi Angela! I am new to your channel and this video was practically a god-send for me 🥰 So perfect! Your foundations/tinted moisturizers looks like they do melt into your skin, become like a second skin, which is exactly what I want to achieve. I am planning to visit both the Sisley and Chanel counters in the next few days to get some samples. From researching online, I saw that Sisley has a few other foundations that you don't reference (Phyto Teint Nude, Phyto-Teint Expert All-Day Long Flawless, and Sisleÿa Le Teint Anti-Aging). Have you tried these, and ruled them out? Thank you so much! Sending love from Chicago ❤
We have the same taste, I have all of these (and then some :p) except the Cle de peau one. Givenchy and Sisley Phyto tinted moisturizers are my favorites.
Happy Easter 🐣🌷🐰 these are my favorites: Chanel Nr. 1, Chanel Sublimage Le Teint, La Mer Soft Fluid Long Wear, Chanel Eau de Teint and currently I fell in love again with Guerlain Parure Gold Skin Matte ❤️
Great video. I also think the Sisley Phyto-Teint Ultra Eclat foundation is excellent but my other favourite from Sisley is the Sisleya Le Teint Anti-Aging foundation which I also love. It has been around for years but I still absolutely love it. Must try the Cle de Peau though. Happy Easter.
Hi Lynne :) Thank you so much for mentioning the Sisley Le Teint Anti-aging foundation. It is gorgeous and it's one of my favorite foundations too. I was wondering if I should add this foundation here and I did not maybe because I currently don't have it and I can't show it. But I agree it's beautiful. Have a great weekend! xoxo
@@Frenchforaday So pleased you love that foundation too, Angela . Love your recommendations. ❤
My ‘go to’ are Chanel les beiges liquid foundation and the Teint. For the colder months I use the liquid. The teint is perfect for me in the summer, because I tan a lot in the summer. I don’t need a lot On my face during those months.
I have and I love every foundation that you’ve mentioned ❤ but I’ll say that Sisley hydra teint is light/medium coverage though ❤
Some reviewers were saying at the time that Chanel n1 doesn’t look glowing, but looks and feels a bit dry, and I agree, on my skin it feels a bit dry, although I’ve always considered my skin to be normal to combination. So maybe on the contrary it’s more comfortable and suitable for combination and oily skin 🤔
Or maybe it simply depends on the amount of applied skincare and spf before foundation, not really the skin type 🙄😊 so probably it isn’t the foundation that could make the skin look glowing or oily, but the skin care
Hi Karin! Skincare and the current skin condition always play a huge part in the way makeup is going to look. You've probably noticed that even certain skincare products don't layer beautifully on top of each other and they might peel off. So of course everything matters - the serum, moisturizer, SPF that you use before applying the foundation. Also normal and combination skin types can sometimes be dehydrated which can cause glowy foundations to look dry. There are so many things to take into consideration and after all - we are all unique so trying is the best way to find your perfect products. :) Have a great weekend ! xoxo
@@Frenchforaday yep, totally agree) have a great time too, Angela 😊
Hello Angela. It is midnight where I am now but it seems to be the only time available and I don’t want to miss your video. I don’t have any luck with Sisley foundations as far as shades. The other ones you mention ai have them and love them. Recently I experimented with a tinted moisturizer from Shiseido and was ver pleasantly surprised at how gorgeous it looks on my skin. Never had try anything from this brand before. Thank you for a great review .😊😊
Happy Easter to Angela and all of you! 🐣💐 I do like the L’Oréal Infallible 24 Hour Fresh Wear foundation and the Laneige Neo cushion foundation Matte as more affordable options. But I do agree that the luxury foundations do have that something. 😄🤩 I guess I should go back to the Sisley ones at some point. Thank you, thank you for sharing, Angela! I hope Angela and all of you have a great Easter weekend! 🐣💐👍🏻❤️💝💕🍀
Thank you! Have a beautiful Easter!!
Treated myself to the Sisley! Chose colour Swan as its pale but not too pink. The striped cap one.
The only recommendation that I have for Sisley is that they should extend their shade range. Other than that their bases are outstanding. xoxo
My favorite is Armani Luminous Silk Foundation, Em Cosmetics dream cushion foundation, and Lys Serum foundation. Hope you had a Happy Easter.🐰🐣
Angela, you should try the rose inc skin tint. It has micro droplets with the glass skin very similar to your chanel water fresh tint swatch. It is also cheaper. The whole line is very lovely.
Hi Angela, thank you ❤
Could you make a video on best foundations specifically for VERY OILY skin? Especially in hot summer? 🌹
Thankyou so much ! , loved this video. X
Thank you for your video and advices, those foundations are really alluring. I am Italian but I have very pale, cool toned complexion (with blue eyes and ash blonde hair), I absolutely don't like tanned skin and I often struggle to find the right shade for me (brands usually do have 1 light rose shade, when they have it 😐). I'm currently using an affordable light coverage foundation which I don't dislike (the Cream to Serum by Neve Cosmetics), but it's not so brilliant in terms of durability, especially in summer. I think I'll try one of those you suggested, the more hydrating the better. I also love your lipstick and I think I probably bought the wrong shade... Isn't Rose Magenta a bit too bright and dark for me?!? 🙄 I haven't tried it yet, but Rose Velours (or even a muted colour!) would be more appropriate, I think... 😅
Congrats for your content and greetings from Genoa 😊
thanks Angela I like the way you explain it.. your face is so pretty 🥰🥰
I too love the Chanel Water Tint. I also love Ilia Super Serum Skin Tint and the La Mer Soft Fluid Long Wear Foundation. For anyone normal to dry I love the Rituel de Fille Thorn Oil Priming Facial Elixir under almost any foundation. It helps give a glow and hydrate. I got mine during a sale for half off.
thank you for the recommendation of the facial oil! can i ask where u found it for half off so i can try and get it sometime too? 🥺
@@HelinaRocks I got it from the brand when they had it on sale.
Very informative....Happy and Blessed Easter to you too!
Hi Marion! Happy Easter to you too! :) xoxo
Thank you Angela. I wish you a Happy Easter!
Hi Lorrina! :) Happy Easter and have a wonderful weekend! xoxo
Any thoughts on Dior foundations? I would love to know your thoughts! Happy Easter, beautiful lady! ❤
PS - please advise & review your best primers, sunscreens and skin prepping products which will also lay Invisibly under the base foundation- for the French look. 🙏♥️
My 3 favourite foundations which look like skin are Chantecaille gel foundation- loooovvvvee it! And it lasts great om me. And Lisa Eldridge foundation. Also the new Laura Mercier. I did not like the Cleu de Peau at all and I do not think it is worth the money. It did not look or last on me as well as the other 3 I memtioned and it is more expensive in comparison. I also was just OK with the Chanel so i will not repurchase it. I have heard good things about the Givenchy, never tried it yet. I might try the new Guerlain Terracota one, but not right away- using my other products so nothing is wasted! I really like your videos😊
The old version of perfection lumière velvet fondation also is a very very good option for this light effortless makeup
grazie per essere così dettagliata e per mostrare i colori, gli swatches.. è molto importante per scegliere
Great video! Can you use the Chanel water tint over foundation for more of a glow?
Hi, thank you for this detailed video, you explained everything really well 🤍I also have combination skin and I'm considering to. purchase the Clè de peau foundation. I live in the UK and there are no stores near me to try them. I saw one of your previous videos saying you like the Natural Radiant foundation, the video where you were trying the sample. However, here you have selected the Radiant Matte version. I want something which is not too matte or not too dewy. I'm not sure which one to select. I hope to hear from you soon. 💗
Hello :) I would suggest the Radiant matte foundation because it is flawless. It is still one of the best foundations out there. It's not too matte and it's not glowy. The natural radiant foundation is definitely glowy. Overall the radiant matte is the better one in my opinion. xoxo
@@Frenchforaday Thank you so much!🥰 I was struggling to choose which one and you've helped out straight away. Generally it's difficult to find detailed reviews, you explain everything perfectly. 🤍
Hello. I adore your videios. They are so helpful and very entertaining. I just added lancome renerergi to my regimen. I use it over the lancome genifique. And then afte rusing the regeneri, i add the Estee lauder sunscreen. Love the look of my skin, but A bit of redness occured from the regeneri.. I do have sensitive skin, so I was wondering if there is a correct way o f applying ormaybe I used too much. Any suggestions
Hi Susan, Maybe you are sensitive to the vitamin C. All three products have vit C and if you are not used to it your skin might get red in the beginning. This is usually only until the skin gets used to it. Try using only one of the serums (+ a basic moisturizer if your skin needs additional moisture), and then the SPF for a few days. Or use one of the serums in the morning and the other in the evening. This should ease your skin until it gets used to vit. C. Overall both serums are gentle and don't have the pure vitamin C (aka L-Ascorbic Acid) that is irritating. But once you layer them they become more potent. And Estee Lauder's SPF also has Vit. C. So choose only one serum for the morning and the other for the evening. You can try layering them again in a couple of weeks. If you still experience redness, then keep using them separately. When I first started this skincare routine I also had the same problem. I used them separately for a week and then my skin got used it and the redness disappeared. I use the same products on my partner. He has more sensitive skin than me and for him it took two weeks to get used to it. xoxo
@@Frenchforaday wow thank you for a detailed response. I appreciate it very much
Hi Angela thank you for your expertise information I'm interested in trying the Sisley Hydra Teinto and because we are similar shades I tried to get 0.5 but there wasn't any in that shade please let me know where I can get one ? Happy Easter
Hi Angela, wonderful video loved it a lot.i have a question, how does Chanel Water tint layers with sunscreen??? Thanks and happy Easter ❤
Hi Lana! :) It doesn't work with all SPFs. For me - it only works with light consistency SPFs like Estee Lauder Perfectionist Pro SPF 50 (I showed it a lot in my latest videos) or something like the Eucerin oil control SPF 50. The trick is to use SPF that is lightweight and that doesn't leave a white cast. Apply the SPF and then wait for 5 min until it's fully absorbed into the skin. They apply the Water fresh tint. xoxo
@Angela van Rose thanks!
My absolute favorite foundation is CDP! My holy grail ❤❤❤
I always enjoy your videos! What is your opinion of La Mer foundation? I would like your opinion.
Thanks! Happy Easter!
Hello :) I think it's a very good foundation. It's pricey but it's very good. I can definitely feel the skincare benefits of La Mer's soft fluid foundation and the La Mer Radiant skin tint when I use each for a few days. When I use them my skin always feels very calm. But I prefer the foundation because it looks better on the skin. It's a nourishing foundation. Wears nice throughout the day, doesn't emphasize fine lines and pores. Overall, it's a very good foundation. I don't like to blend it with fingers. For me it works only when I blend it with brush. I hope this helps :) xoxo
Hi Angela ! What do think about Dior Skin Glow ?
Happy Easter🐰🐥🍀🌷
Happy Easter and thank you for watching my video! xoxo
I really love the light coloured nailpolish, which colour is it? 💅
Hi Karin :) This is 939 Singularite by Chanel. xoxo
@@Frenchforaday ty🙏👋
I really like a Tinted Moisturizer. Not the specific ones you showed (which I'm sure are lovely), I use the Laura Mercier one in "Cameo". I find that putting on a heavy base in the Mediterranean countries is so difficult as the natural light is so intense and makes it look so cakey.
Thanks for the tips, especially regarding the shelf life of foundations. I think I may have to toss a couple in my collection. I'm also curious as to what causes your skin to get irritated from time to time? I find that many night serums do that to me and I only use them once or twice a week now. 🤔
Out of curiosity, I used Lancome skin care for a few months, and I found my skin highly irrirated and red in my T-zone. I switched to Chanel No. 1 skin care and within a week, my skin had returned to its natural colour. That showed me that something in the Lancome products just does not work for me.
I want to wear what you are wearing….so beautiful!
I just received an information that my store from now on not gonna give sale again on all Chanel products 😭 I think I must thinking about to purchase Sisley. First I want Sisley poudre compacte to use with Chanel water fresh tint before I saw your video about Sisley phyto teint eclat foundation. Will you recommend the Sisley pressed powder? Have you any positive experience with that?
Can you please tell me what shade you are in the Chanel no 1 foundation and the Chanel la beige water tint ? I’m very much your skin tone with fair/light skin x
Could you please tell me wich lipstick you wear in this video? I adore the colour
Happy Easter. Love your top, where’s it from?
Hi Claudia :) This one is from Reserved. It is a Polish brand. It's more popular in Europe. They have very affordable and nice fashion. xoxo
Hi Angela, have you tried Hermes plein air and Westman Atelier complexion drops and if you have opinion on those two products?
Hi Sheila! :) I've tried both. I have a review of the Hermes Plein air. I reviewed it right after it was released. I will link it here. MY FIRST IMPRESSIONS review: ruclips.net/video/zLUV8Wo2KuI/видео.html and MY UPDATES video: ruclips.net/video/sQ8SCdgSuCc/видео.html I don't like it. I tried everything to make it work but it just doesn't look flawless on my skin. It sits on top of my skin. It emphasizes pores and imperfections... when my skin is in a very good condition - it works. But if I have any issues on my skin - such a dehydrated skin, or uneven skin textures - it doesn't look good. And it doesn't wear beautifully during the day. It only looks nice for a few hours and after that it looks cakey. The Westman Atelier drops are gorgeous for dry skin. They are super smooth and very glowy. But I can't wear it because two hours after applying it my skin becomes a greasy mess. It doesn't matter how much powder I apply. My skin looks super oily. So that's why I think it will be great for dry skin. I gave it to a friend who has dry skin and she loved it. So with Westman Atelier it all depends on your skin type. I would say, if you are dry, then you will probably like it. xoxo
@@Frenchforaday Thank you Angela ♥
Can you tell me what blush you are wearing? Its lovely
Hi Marijeta, I wear the new Chanel Illumintating blush Fantsie de Chanel. You can see all products in the description box. xoxo
hello angela did you try the matte version of the givenchy prisme libre foundation & how did it compare with the glow ? i really like the glow version but the pump is a nightmare & broke after less than 5 uses. i had it replaced (miracle) but this 2nd new bottle also had the same issue after more than 10 uses. i didn’t feel comfortable sending this back since it had more uses & i simply wrote it off as a givenchy issue. i would definitely use it more often but the thought of having to manoeuvre the pump just drives me to my other foundations. i believe the matte version will work better but am not willing to face the stress of having another faulty pump to deal with just to try something i don’t exactly need. otherwise my favourites are la mer (all of them : soft fluid, radiant skin tint & cushion), dior cushion & the serum foundation, hermès plein air & pat mcgrath. i also enjoy just a good primer or spf & powder especially for post gym situations 💗
Hi Angeline Giselle :) The Givenchy matte foundation is a good one but it has the same problem with the pump. Very sad indeed! I just love the glow foundation so much that I am careful when I use the pump and I can always easily put it back into place. But if that irritates you, then skip the matte foundation. xoxo
@@Frenchforaday ooh i really hope those are the only products having this packaging issue !!! and yes i am so careful too ! ridiculous considering this has never happened to any other pump system i own, whether make up, skincare or haircare. grrrr anyway…. i should probably use my sisley foundation too, this video was a good reminder 😘
I also loved the Vichy foundations about 10-15 years ago, but they´re no longer this good. Do you have any foundation recommendations for dry mature skin with hyperpigmentation, when each problem requires a different type of foundation? I´m not as good as Lisa Eldridge to use her "patchwork" method.
Try the Armani luminous silk foundation
Thanks for your review! Can i ask why you didnt recommend the sisley teint nude? X
Hi Roxy! This is my least favorite Sisley base product because it tends to catch on dryness on my skin and if my skin is not in the best condition (if it's dehydrated), it emphasizes my pores. Also I find that it lasts only around 4 hours and starts to wear off and becomes unflattering on my skin. I can see it on my face. Have you used it? Let us know how it works for you. xoxo
@@Frenchforaday no i was deciding which one to get and thought that would be more suited so im glad you let me know the others are better, i had the tinted moisturiser and enjoyed it so i think i will repurchase :)
Can you tell me what shade you are in the Chanel 1 and Givenchy, please?
Thank you for preparing such high quality content; your videos are consistently excellent. My favor to ask you is to include cruelty free options. None of the brands in today’s video are cruelty free. Perhaps there are options from Chantecaille, Westman Atelier, Hourglass, or other luxury brands that do not permit animal testing on their products?
Hello :) I've tried a lot of the cruelty free brands and as much as I want to like them, their foundations/tinted moisturizers just can't compare to my favorite products. I don't support Chantecaille as a brand anymore for various reasons. They disappointed me on a number of occasions with claims vs reality. Plus, they claim that we support certain charities when we buy products but in reality they only donate a small portion only from purchases made through their US website (meaning that I don't support anything when I buy their products). This is misleading and I don't like it. I won't go deeper into that as I think everyone can research for themselves. From the other brands that you mentioned - I like their foundations but don't love them. I've been mentioning my favorite products from Westman Atelier multiple times. Westman Atelier is one of my favorite brands. It's just the bases that I don't like. Hourglass have great makeup too but I don't have a favorite foundation from this brand. I adore their powders; blushes; bronzers; highlighters. I recently tried other cruelty free brands that I loved but the products went bad 2 months after I started using them and that was a deal breaker for me. I keep trying new products constantly and of course I will share my experience :) Thank you for watching my videos and have a wonderful weekend! xoxo
Thank you Angela! The issues with Chantecaille are indeed concerning and disingenuous. Let’s hope that Chanel will become a cruelty free brand soon 🌺🌸🌻
@@Frenchforaday 👏 Bravo.
Hi :), what is your shade number in the Clé de Peau foundation? I tried the match finder on the Clé de Peau website but my match looks too peach /orange :). Near me I do not have a store that carries Clé de Peau. I live in the middle of Germany. Looking forward to your help.
Hi Ana! :) My perfect shade match is I10 but I rarely find this one in Europe so I often use O10. O10 warms up my skin but still works. However, I10 is the perfect shade match for my skin tone. "I" stand for ivory and "O" stands for Ochre, and "B" stands for Beige in Cle de peau foundations. I hope this helps. xoxo
@@Frenchforaday Thank you so much Angela
❤
Chanel les beiges tint looks the best but it does break me out sometime, there must be some ingredient that irritates my skin. Otherwise, it's perfection.
🌷🐰 Happy Easter 🐑🌷
Happy Easter, Candy! :) Thank you for taking the time to watch my video. xoxo
Are they all heavily scented? My skin can't handle perfume...
Dear Angela, This has nothing do do with your video today. I always go with your recommendation they seam to work for me. I looked though your description and did not see your nail polish. I wonder if you could be so kind as to tell the product name but must of all the name of the color. Your hands always look so perfect and angelic I find myself watching them to deeply I have to watch the video again. The color is perfect for my skin tone. Thank You your a delight.Have a peaceful Easter
Hi Judith! :) I always keep forgetting to write my nail polish. This is my favorite nude nail polish. It is Chanel 939 Singularite' :) I would highly recommend it. Have a great Easter weekend! xoxo
You're so lucky Angela. The Chanel fragrance kills my skin. :(
I love the natural glam pretty look. I love natural but a touch of eye color brighter lips. I don’t like the makeup looks heavy base. Sadly I think the Sisley and Cle’ de Peau charge way too much. I get it’s Lux. But the prices. Wow ! I mean one from
Sisley 250 ?? I know I know ! I get it. It’s beautiful. But I can’t afford it sadly. $137 for a tint. I’m really not being a hater or negative. I need great base. I get it. But wow. For makeup. It’s just pricey sadly. Beautylish showed they didn’t have the Givenchy 😮
Hi Louise! Which of the foundations that I mentioned costs $250? You shocked me. The Sisley PHYTO-TEINT ULTRA that I mentioned retails for $105. The Cle de Peau is $130 I am looking at the websites now. I wanted to check the US prices because $250 is a lot! I don't think I've ever shown a foundation that costs that much on my channel. Regarding affordable foundations, you know I'm not an expert in affordable makeup. I haven't tried everything so I might have missed something exceptional. In Europe we just don't have that many drugstores where we can see affordable makeup. Even online I never found a good shade match. So US has a lot mot possibilites and a wider range of products. xoxo
@@Frenchforaday it was the jar one. Didn’t mean to say you actually buy that. I was only saying it costs so much the brand. Not what you were showing. I’m sorry about that. I was on a rant about the Lux charges. And it’s not that you are showing the expensive ones. I did see that the ones you showed were more affordable. I saw the other higher ones. I’m
So sorry. I do love watching you and I do love what you recommend and I see the ones you did review are that price. I’m so sorry I didn’t mean to be all mean and nasty. Not at all !
The first sisley foundation did not work for me at all. My skin looked really dry and flakey, even though my skin is normal to combo
Hi Marta! That's very strange. I hope you were able to return it. Sometimes (even though rarely) I have encountered products that have gone bad... and they don't look as they should. xoxo
@@Frenchforaday that's a good point perhaps it was old. I bought it at Munich airport so wasn't able to return it, but managed to make it work by adding a couple of drops of oil to it. Love your videoss, been following for you for many many years :=
@@KMartha22 That's a great tip to make a foundation work. Adding a drop of oil always makes the finish so beautiful. Now, I must say that I've had such experiences a few times at airports. I don't know what it is. I always feel tempted to shop there but a few times the products that I got there were just not the same quality. Or maybe I was just unlucky. Thank you so much for watching my videos. ❤
What nationality are you ?
