I honestly believe google translate was Programmed in the English language using somebody from another country because every time I talk slow and clear into my phone it never gets my complete sentence correctly.
Then you need to talk louder. That usually works when speaking english to a non english. Slow, and really loud. Accentuate all of your vowels as well. 'VOW ELS!'
That translation of text on other things is perfect for menus!

Would love to hear what it sounds like when you play the foreign language? The AI versions don’t often sound like real words I would prefer a human being to be able to speak or at least for to sound as fluent as possible. Would be nice to hear this on this video before I purchased the app.

There are a lot of Asian dramas that aren’t in English, but I would love a program that will translate on screen so I don’t have to wait for them to do subtitles in English.

App box pro - brilliant app for translation 👍
Google is good if it is in camera mode or if you speak. But not good for picking up speech on videos. It often stops and only translate a small amount. . I want a good app for Iphone to translate voice from videos to english and Ive tried both of these. Any ideas?

Apple speech to speech does work offline. Google is supposed to and a half dozen bozos on RUclips assert it does it none of them try it. Because it doesn’t.
