my worry with these submissions, I feel like if they like the beat they probably have in house producers remake it or get influenced by part of the production. That's a really dope concept for a website. The price for access is a bit high, though. I'm on the fence about whether it's a worthwhile investment for me, at this stage.
Thanks D.J. Pain 1, I really appreciate your help and am forever grateful of what you have done for the producer community much love and success to you your mentoring has really helped my life become way more easier to navigate in the Music Industry.
Hi. I got a major artist rapper wanting me to make a beat and buy it from me... what should I charge them if I just make the beat myself and what should I charge if I have another producer collab with me on the beat? This artist is a Grammy winning artist rapper!
DJ PAIN 1 is a multi platinum producer with a lot of eyes on him so he has the responsibility to steer up and coming producers in the right direction People confuse getting placement with reputation your placement could happen tomorrow reputations take time he’s gems. Do take time to manifest however, it can be done. 💎💎💎🎧🎧
So what’s the process once you send beats to an artist maybe on social media, how does the process of trade(payment) for the beat go, do they pay first before they get stems? How do I secure my payment once they’ve picked a beat, Someone please kindly explain😢❤
Who knows, but if they ask for stems, I generally send them because the music comes first, then they decide if it's going on the album second, then the label contacts you for payment. Have a lawyer for that of course. If they're DIY artists, either you're working with them for an upfront fee (send beatstars link) or you're working together collaboratively (no upfront payment, split only).
I love the feeling of panic that comes over me when I learn of a new platform/opportunity... I've been doing this way too short a time to feel so competitive. Same as a gambler's high. Very strange.
Great vid!! I'm laughing tho because you are 100% spit on about "who you know". Folks literally ask their friends if their jobs are hiring. Then references and everything else. It's not just business, it's life, so I don't know why folks are confused😂
I just started working with Hardo alot of yall might not know who he is but I bumped into him in Pittsburgh if I get anything placed it will be my first signed artist..Hey Pain I have a question I was thinking about not charging him at all since we from the same city and instead ask him for contacts instead he has worked with some of my favorite artists EST Gee being the top one.. do you think that would be rude to ask? Or is this a thing? I don't wanna look like a weirdo or do anything to mess up the relationship
Because the overall song is 100% and the maximum a producer SHOULD get for a song with one or more lyrics authors/performers is 50%, so 50% would be 100% of a producer's underlying composition ownership
@@DJPain1 Bit overpriced.. but not only that. I heard that many producers got the same email on they're submissions. But like straight after sending in, almost like an automessage..
@@DJPain1 I believe so. I could totally be wrong but, l ways interpreted the main selling point being the ability to submit for major placement opportunities. Regardless, this video got me on United Market. Hoping to jump in before it gets more crowded. Appreciate you 🙌🏻

I could never produce for someone like YoungBoy. Having to split the pay or getting less for someone to mumble on my beat just sounds crazy to me. He as no skill and you can pick literally anybody of the street and have them mumble on a beat. Producing takes 1000x more skill and effort than most of that lazy trash rap nowadays. Producers don´t get nearly enough credit.
More opportunities for everyone else then, I guess. Have fun being picky about how you get paid when most people are trying to escape a 9 to 5. Most producers in the early stages just want to hear someone on their beats - only working with artists who you feel have a high talent level or are someone you would want to listen to yourself is a great way to leave money on the table when you could take that money and put food on your family’s table instead. Idk what your situation is but whether you like NBA YoungBoy or not the opportunity is career changing for 98% of producers on the internet.

If he’s signed, the label is paying you. Don’t trade him beats for contacts, let the networking happen organically- that’s just my opinion
This is an AWESOME situation but there IS another website thats been around for some time that you can submit beats to for opportunities
If it’s that sendbeatsbot thing, then 🤢
am I the only one noticing that something is flying in the background at 0:45
It’s a lemur
Could someone explain why he put 50% split, if he's the one that made the beat himself with no ones help?
Because the overall song is 100% and the maximum a producer SHOULD get for a song with one or more lyrics authors/performers is 50%, so 50% would be 100% of a producer's underlying composition ownership

My pleasure
Anyone know if this is actually good has anyone got placements from this? I don’t wanna pay a bunch for no opportunities.
what if the beat you uploading has a sample on it?
I just avoided those, but I'm sure if it's dope, it'll get handled if the project has the right budget
there are lot of scam sites on the net praying on musicians I hope this site is legit
Do you know if we can sign up for only one month and cancel after that.. and not have to sign up for a year?
It looks like they have a monthly and yearly option so my guess is yes, just apply first
